Wow, what a time to own Apple!!!! This feels like complete vindication for all the months we had to listen to idiots echo "Law of Large Numbers". I look and look but I cannot find anyone concerned about $2 Trillion. It actually feels kind of strange to be in such a FUD free environment. We even survived the recent spate of car talk on the board. I am worried that I cannot find anything to worry about. It just ain't natural. It's been a long journey, but I am beginning to think we made it. it's kind of a shame we cannot all get together and celebrate.

I have to be honest, I never understood why they got rid of the Magsafe connector. But Calacanus guy clearly misses the point that Jony Ive was still running the design shop at the time. Tim's job is to say no not yes.
BTW didn't see a mention of this:
Come on $AAPL! Artman has done his crossword puzzle in pen already.

I think consumers are tiring of all of the talk of AR without any useful products but this would be a huge game changer. But of course there would be a need for content. Gaming! Let’s do it Apple.

As I have been saying for years about Google, its reliance on iOS users is an existential threat, and yet not one talking head on the financial shows has even mentioned iOS 14's impact, as GOOG hits daily new ATH's. So when these bozos talk about Apple, keep in mind what they haven't said about Google. Los Bozos.
The beauty of an opt-out is, the user decides, not Apple. So no anti-trust concerns.
It's hard to express my joy at the idea of Google taking an Apple-induced haircut.

Despite my recent naïveté regarding new member signups, I am going to take the chance and welcome biff27, whose email address at least has the appearance of verisimilitude. So, Kenton, please do introduce yourself and tell us what has brought you to the forum in these ecstatic times.

I built a position in AAPL in 2014 after my close friend mortgaged his house to buy more AAPL shares. We were business associates for 46 years. Now I think I will use him as my investment counselor. So when he recommended that I join this forum, did I really have a choice?

If wishing made it so, why not look at NFLX or TSLA for their multiple. Who do you compare Apple to? I liked the analyst that at least tried, but using a blended multiple based on different segments of Apple. I don't think MSFT or Google are really the perfect compares either, but AAPL matches MSFT for trailing P/E (38.38 vs 38.39 today). And, GOOG is 36.32. It's been an amazing climb! In the longer term it shouldn't be over, and who knows in the short term. But comparing to multiples that are much higher, of companies that aren't even close to a good compare, seems like a bad choice.
