I agree with JD --- "Tens of thousands of people die from flu and we don't close the country down. Is that insensitive? If you are under 65, Covid is pretty much the same death rate as the flu. The governors should have concentrated on protecting the elderly and let the rest of the country live its life." The key point is this. If you are under 65, the virus is not a big deal. Oh, so you're going with "if you're under 65" the virus is not a big deal. So, let's see, from JD's chart that's 7,606 deaths for the under 55 range plus another 12,307 deaths in the 55-64 category for a total of 19,913 deaths. Tell me, would you be less likely to think almost 20,000 dead Americans is "...not a big deal" if that number contained relatives or friends of yours? How about if a number of them came from your immediate neighborhood or town? No? Still not a big deal? And IN NO WAY does the virus justify the crazy restrictions on the economy, the extreme use of masks, and the creation of absolute fear on millions of normal people. Nursing homes and some areas of hospitals may well have good reason. Early leadership and general acceptance of social distancing and wearing masks in public *may* have ended the pandemic by now. Unfortunately, we'll never know for sure. What has been lacking in this country is *caution* about coronavirus from "millions of normal people". Successful containment could have *drastically* lowered the fear level. My wife and I wear masks whenever we buy groceries and, in fact, the stores in this area *require* a face mask and social distancing to enter. We wear our masks because it's important to help stop the spread of the virus_it's a real stretch to call it *extreme*.

"Sociopathic traits linked to not wearing a mask or social distancing during pandemic: study"
The research paper is titled: "Compliance with containment measures to the COVID-19 pandemic over time: Do antisocial traits matter?"
People refusing to wear masks are selfish & ignorant, and according to this research may be sociopaths.
So disappointed in a large portion of society these days. What has become of our education system?

People refusing to wear masks are selfish & ignorant, and according to this research may be sociopaths. So disappointed in a large portion of society these days. What has become of our education system? Complete blind ignorance and outright stupidity seem to be a badge of honor now. As is extreme selfishness. As evidenced by all the idiots and self-centered jerks who won’t even wear a mask in public. And demean and insult those that do. Like what is the harm? Worse case, you are slightly inconvenienced for no reason. Best case, your ignorant and selfish point of view on masks is wrong, and you prevent the transmission to yourself, a loved one, or a complete stranger you cross paths with. But instead we have a bunch of self centered jackasses who say “f*** you” to the rest of the world be showing off their defiance to the minor act of wearing a damn mask. Disappointed is an understatement in my opinion, when we live in a world where large swaths of the population are so self-centered and stupid, that they will let their willful ignorance jeopardize the health and safety of those around them. Disgusted is a a better word.

Put another way, are you saying “screw them, I am not wearing a mask for their sake?” 2. And “no big deal” is your opinion. Not reality. Driven by who knows what biases.

Home based gyms? Buy the TQQQ. My cousin wanted to get muscles and he got a scrap iron bar, filled two paint cans with cement and worked out. All this stuff is fluff and not necessary. By the Cubes Google or Apple and let the rest sort itself out. If you want to gamble buy the chinese TSLAs to OLED> Invest with common sense, who is making the money but the top companies in the Cubes? You realize you are a stockholder in a company that sells $1000+ phones and $6000+ workstations? There's a lot of money in separating the productive class from their wallets. When my home gym is done, there will easily be $20K in it. I'd love to add a home gym, but the problem is that there is no space in our house for it. So adding a home gym would probably cost me upwards of $1M around here.... because first I need to buy a bigger house. 😅
