It’s Monday, the first one of a new month. The pre-market is green at +$0.81 at the moment. It’s not a lot, but after last week I’ll take it. Premarket: Apple is green

This "one more thing" has my ear more than any of the announcements so far. The engineer in me is dying to know what Apple Silicon can deliver on the Mac. Assuming that is the subject of this event. The Apple Silicon team has shown an amazing ability to execute. It is easy to become numb to what they have accomplished. If the Mac now obtains strong differentiation in performance per watt, among other things, it will represent a new high-water mark for that team.

It’s the only thing that has made us try to wait for an A-series iMac. I should have realized that MacBooks were more likely to come first. Apple silicon has been another brilliant strategy from Mr. Cook, rippling throughout the product lines, with the ability to include product-specific features when needed.

Also, using those specific words "One more thing" is clearly meant to put a certain image in everyone's minds. There is no doubt about that at all. I, for one, am excited about it.
I can't wait to see the form factor and the battery life. Heck, it could be as good as half the battery size and twice the battery life. That would bring great joy to many of us!

Hey Mark, my thoughts exactly - In the World of 🍏 those specific words relate to some very specific Iconology.

That would bring great joy to many of us! those three words are surely reserved for special events and sparingly used to heighten their capacity to whip the base into a frenzy. Being half glass full, I'm hoping it's a new product category, rather than a new 'A' powered Mac - we all know this is coming. Tags?

I want both macbooks with 🍎Si AND some new previously unknown product category. 😎

Being unfamiliar with TestFlight, here's a blurb about it from the article:
