Cha-ching!
I call foul on most of the AAPL pricing votes yesterday, that were placed once AAPL had already gone up $3-4. But with today's +4, now at $136, all of us that voted for $135+ are seeing the gold!
Thanks Apple!

I'm confused. If PED has been paying from the start, isn't he getting the monthly credits Apple said they are giving? And if so, what more "Apple love" does he want?
We've been getting it for free since close to the beginning. We watched The Morning Show, and a couple episodes of Home, but haven't gotten around to anything else. I do want to watch Greyhound and The Banker. But really I haven't looked through it lately.
We've subscribed to Disney+ for the same time. I watched a couple Star Wars movies and both seasons of Mandalorian, and am now watching it again with the girls. We watched a few newer Pixar movies. But now the kids mostly watch older movies off of it. They probably watch at least 2 and often 4 movies off of it a month.
I sometimes pay for an Amazon Prime month. We started watching the James Bond movies off of it, until all but one went away at the start of the year. I have trouble finding movies I want to watch there, and I guess I'm just amazed that their software isn't better as far as suggestions, genres, and just general searching. Amazon supposedly has a good software arm, but it seems like the Prime Video searching and suggesting isn't even up to what Netflix had 15-20 years ago.
I'd like to see Apple TV+ expand, especially with a movie catalog like Universal Artists Releasing. But while I'd like Apple to get plenty of subscribers, being good enough to be an extra incentive for someone upgrading their iPhone is good too. And at some point it seems you could do the Netflix/Amazon thing of not owning all of the films, but having them available. Especially with a curated list that focuses on quality instead of quantity, I could see room for Apple to make some space for their streaming too.

I was thinking of it like a US option, or an analyst price target, where really it counts if the price gets to or exceeds the figure anytime on or before the date. And I keep forgetting that Apple is stepping up earnings a bit this time around, a couple days inside of January instead of a couple days past it. January 27th is the day (as I believe Art posted a month ago). It was a nice morning on the mountain today. Few people, and our last warmer day. And who knows, we might even get some snow in the next week. I saw the GM walking down the hill, and talked with him a bit. But AAPL helped out a bit too! It's great to "check in" and see that AAPL is up $4 and pushing highs for the day. As long as earnings and outlook are good, Katy's 12-month target should be plausible, even if the current bull case of $200 is a bit....Bullish.

Wow! Will we see a new all-time-high by the end of the week (tomorrow)? I think yes.

Agree, very bullish given the already big run up. FYI...

Wow! Will we see a new all-time-high by the end of the week (tomorrow)? I think yes. Shhhh! ATH talk may be worse than Car Talk. ...even if I am cautiously optimistic. OTOH, if you want to see what the super bulls think, and price in, take a look at TSLA options. Year out ATM 850's for about $250. Breakeven would be a 30% gain in the underlying. But what about 1700's for $95? Banking on a 100% gain (plus the premium) to hit breakeven seems crazy. But after a 7x year, I'm sure some are thinking it is a good bet. Crazy! Thanks Apple!

Artman's absence is troubling!! Next person to see him, cuff him to this board. He's got some posts to make!
Without doing the maths (that's math for you lot) I hope earning are such that we see a smaller P/E for AAPL. I know the market doesn't take much notice of this number (see TSLA, NTFX, AMZN), but I do. P/E is the number of years it would take to generate a 100% return to the share holder of the current market cap. TSLA at P/E 1615 is, in my mind, nuts.1615 years... That's a long time to place a bet. AAPL @ PE 40,is 40 years to return that value to shareholders. That is a long time... but sure Apple has long term vision.
I know this is a somewhat simplistic understanding of this metric and that the market in general are looking at a broad range of metrics to make what ever calls they make. But the metric exists and must mean something.

He's been around doing a lot lately, and while I don't know his innerthinkings I have a feeling that he might very well be anticipating new ATH postings just as much as we as a board anticipate seeing them. Yep, a whole lot of anticipation. And we're not even talking about earnings yet...
