Does anyone remember back after the 7-1 split when we got up to 115 and hung around there forever? other than a slide down to 90 there was no momentum at all and we seemed to shrug off all news good and bad. Just a "lost in the wilderness" pattern that seemed to last forever. I forget what the narrative de jour was at the time, probably "too dependent on iPhone" since no one could write or read "law of large numbers" and keep a straight face. I suspect that there was an unspoken fear-based story that kept the "analysts" at bay, but no one believed it enough to put it into a note. Well, this feels like De Je Vu all over again.
I only know one sure way to jolt Apple back to its upward movement, but I am hesitant to write calls against my entire position.

Buy a few hundred shares and sell calls against them. Enjoy the wait.
