FWIW, Apple was already set up to give vaccinations. Even 15-20 years ago, they gave out the flu shot at the health clinic at the gym, just a block away from the Infinite Loop campus. I think they also had a couple other vaccinations, probably in line with those needing to travel overseas for work, but i don't remember 100%. Likewise, when working at another company, they gave the flu shot. But in that case they might have not had their own people administering it, instead having an outside nurse or company. Either way, the simplicity of getting it at work made those years the only times I bothered getting the Flu shot. Apple also had a annual physical you could take, including a 10 pad EKG on a treadmill. I kept putting that off, waiting until I was in "good shape", but they had a backlog and the year I took it some of the pads fell off maybe 10 minutes in and they had to cancel it, with no time to reschedule. Oh well My wife and I both have our second shots this week, mine 40 minutes away and hers at the local hospital. It would be a lot easier if we were just walking over to the health clinic at work. The more links of the chain are broken, the better.

The more links of the chain are broken, the better. Congratulations! Fabulous Spouse and I got our second shots around the beginning of the month. Other than reducing anxiety it hasn’t made a huge difference as, like most folks in this state, we still are dedicated mask wearers in public because we could still infect others. Meanwhile... TECHTIMES (?) has Spotify to Go Head to Head With Apple Music as Both Companies Will Launch Podcast Subscription Services Next Week. I have a few podcasts that I listen to regularly, although not as much since I retired and no longer commute daily (and the pandemic wiped out my weekly squash matches). I will be interested to see if or how they are affected by the change.
