See AMZN 15 min -- right NOW!!!!!!!!!
That's bearish divergence.

Okay, that was a day trade only! And a very good example of a BAD TRADE, even if profitable. Bad, bad risk management.
Train day protocol: Today is a STRONG uptrend for AMZN. Should NEVER take counter-trend trades (divergence trades) with a strong trend.

I've mentioned it before, but look at GIS. Bearish divergences on the MACD over multiple timeframes. Embedded overbought on the RSI since Feb 13.
Going to enter April 44/45 put spreads if I can get a good price.

Wow, check out NFLX's chart the past hour or so. What's going on?! Here I thought only AAPL really gets option pinned.

AMZN showing weakness again. Will close below SMA 8, 10, 20 and 50 if this holds. Was setting up a bullish hammer before fading.

Look at DXPE. What a beast. This was my favorite stock next to AAPL. Wish I had stayed in.

Didn't know where else to put this note. Pay special attention to the third paragraph. "The unwinding of the trade means they need to buy AAPL and sell GOOG, the opposite of what they did when they initiated the trade." This is born out by AAPL's trading of the last 8 days (a near straight line up trend). Additionally, a tweak to my Open Interest charts show a sudden shift from Puts to Calls starting March 1. Since then, Open Interest has become decidedly Bullish. Could this be the start of the pre-earnings run up we're looking for? www.marketwatch.com/story/the-apple-vs-google-trade-is-being-unwound-2013-03-14

From Intraday: Here's the monthly chart of the S&P500 since mid-1995: You can see why *some* money might be leaving the market at this level. Well I guess we are headed to 800 on the S&P :-). Thanks for that chart. No worries. Looks like the perfect environment for some Bull Put Spreads (on other stocks).

Well I guess we are headed to 800 on the S&P :-). Nah, just a healthy retrace, until proven otherwise. But you can see why *some* might think "well just in case....um, better take some profits..." IMHO, this is a *lovely* time for bear put spreads on your least favorite stocks. Make a short list Short List -- heehee!

AMZN, NFLX, what, there's other stocks to short? ;D (I know, two bad examples.)
GOOG? GMCR? Financials? Ah, the possibilities.

Better hope that was a flat in the S&P chart. Like mace said, we're in a world of hurt if it wasn't.
AMZN is looking good, err bad ;D

Well, THIS time I'll manage a green trade better. Guaranteed!
Because I actually have a pure, kinda-dangerous stop order in. I may sell end of day anyway despite my conviction that losing 255 as support for a bit isn't a good sign. Capital gain and all that, y'know. ;D. I needs me a confidence booster.

AMZN is now below ichimoku cloud, need work to bring GOOG below, it is still above the cloud.

I'm more of a levels guy, being a simple soul.
So I'm looking to see AMZN lose 255 or get rejected at 260 or something on a weak bounce.

I got out because my original bet was pure puts. Looking for a rebuy, maybe. Another break below 253, a failure to retake 260. I don't trade AMZN to retire, so I'll live if AMZN drops before I can get back on the put train. Btw, hope the match you were talking about went well.
