Watching Tim Epic (Mr. "This Totally Has Parallels to the Civil Rights Movement") set his credibility on fire while Apple moves on from Fortnite is so satisfying.
Regardless of sales trends (the whole Supercycle 2 being even more insane than Supercycle 1 with the iPhone 6, creating the toughest YOY compares ever), it's clear to me Apple still knows what people want out of their iPhones, and what Switchers are looking for in a good smartphone. It's all good on the hardware side, and I'm more than ready for the next-tier Macs to launch.
This year.
Please.
My rMBP isn't running any cooler.

5% or so September down so far. All Chinese stocks are up as the China Evergrande Group Ordinary Shares default that was the trigger for the Monday blues seems like it is on hold now. Interesting on news of the coming default the stock went down 4 cents. Today it is up a dime. Is it just possible someone knew ahead of time that this was coming? I have no idea what Tim Epic is talking about. The wonder is that the games which defy rational description could make 10s of billions of dollars. That is a statement of cultural melt down if there ever was one. Don't think this hurts Apple in the short term. In the long term firming up the App store's legal status is positive.

I have to observe the new safari is just gross with the deeply colored heading on some websites.

You can turn off the colored heading thing in Safari settings.

love the fortnite ban until AAPL's appeals are exhausted - hit em' where it hurts. Such hubris, and entitlement. Epic's actions feel very spoiled brat gen whatever to me - I guess I'm getting older. But play by the rules or suffer the consequences as far as I'm concerned.

Personally, I LOVE the new iOS 15 Safari, though it *doesn't* do the chameleon color thing, far as I know. Oh, and this is amusing. I got an extended feature on MaxTech's YouTube channel, which is kinda funny because MaxTech, y'know, has about 730,000 subscribers. So yeah, I can be flexible with my skepticism of Tech YouTube and stuff. (Around 90 seconds in) www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWyulJk5Xdg

I upgraded my Apple TV to TVOs15. Just watched Avengers End Game with the AirPod’s Max. Spatial audio is now fully supported on these devices. Wow. Jumped out of my seat a few times. Besides the sound, I love the integration, and the control that the APM’s provide. Outstanding experience.

Nice! The A12 Apple TV?
My AirPods 1 are ready for Apple Recycling...one earbud is nonfunctional, and really, it's time for AirPods 3 anyway. While they worked, I LOVED being able to Live the Dream™ of big screen on, but personal audio with the AirPods.

No, the previous iteration. The Max’s are certainly an extravagance, but in terms of pure enjoyment, they are my favorite Apple product. Many months in, I am still going WOW. I also own the Pros, and I use them primarily when I am out and about now.
