Wow! It's nice to have a product that's in demand. Sometimes I wish Apple could capture more of this excitement in a financial way, like a special version or color for a premium. But mostly that isn't Apple's way, especially at this point in their mass appeal and mass manufacturing. It will be interesting to see the Sept Q bump. It's just moving sales by a few weeks one way or another, but still it could be nice to see, and will get some people excited, while really just spreading out the influx slightly more evenly over the 4 quarters.

Interesting to hear the T heads on the financial channels talk about how the "risk off" trade is on while the gonster machers plow 100's of millions into bitcoin. Risk off indeed. TQQQ is at the 100 day MA. Reached the 200 day MA in March. I'd buy some if it hits the 200 day again. The China situations continues. The government moved some money into the Evergrande company. That will get it out of the news for a bit. Looks like the spending bills will be delayed unfortunately. This increases volatility. Apple and the rest are at the mercy of these high tides.

While none of us like to see a drop in AAPL share price like we saw yesterday, it's important to keep in mind that recent stock action is not just affecting AAPL.

I have a friend with a contact in China who says that video is fake news. Is there any way to verify it? I suppose the easy way would be to compare it to the stated location, and see if there were any timestamp type things in the video. The easiest fake would be to reuse video from a few years ago. It seemed like more than the 100 people they stated, but not more than a thousand. At that point, while it potentially could have been a fun video for someone to make, it wouldn't change things one way or the other so dramatically to matter, even if it was fake. If Apple did stop selling them there that day, that would collaborate the video enough. But I imagine there are times where the wrong pictures or videos are used. I occasionally see old pictures used in stories, and wonder if that is the best they can come up with.
