It's been a while since I read this, and yet it is one I will remember. Many recommend it over the years, and it was on Ken Fisher's list. The best part of this was, like some of the books from the Robber Barrons in the 1870-1920's or so, is how there was a time when a person could corner the market on something. Maybe they had to encourage others to help out, but it was possible. This book, said to be a biographical piece on Jesse Livermore, brought us through the ups and downs of his lifetime, including several times of riches, and several times of losing it all and having to start from scratch, though often with a little help.
It's one of the classics. While not as applicable to current general trading, it's well worth the read.
