To start OT: Congrats to anyone long TSLA. Wow.
Returning to AAPL, TWO inside days in a row. For the Friday session, let's say 455 close, make it THREE inside days in a row to end the week?!
Hey, supply and demand, right? (Man, that never gets old. ;D) Perfectly prepared to be wrong. And really, the more I think about it, the more I think AAPL just needs time to tell us where it might go next. I'll try and stay patient here and watch for clues.

To continue a potentially dubious (?) occasional habit of quoting the previous intraday topic's posts here and there: Forgive my spotty attendance, as I'm getting some much needed R&R. Not a bad way to (post-)recuperate a bit, I'd say.

Mercel - where is that beautiful pic from? It reminds me a bit of when I was in Via Reggio a few years ago. Beautiful

Back from my "time out". A little sad that good posters get muzzled when correcting wrong posts. The people I want see are leaving or posting less and we end up having a couple of people responsible for half the posts. Oh well. I'll also be posting less from now on, if people can't handle the blunt truth.

I'm getting a refresher course in Intestinal Fortitude today. While position is. Still in the money, it came close to going negative on a steep sell off this morning. I sucked it up and now AAPL is up $2.xx from its LoD. I'd sure like to see $458.xx, then hold it through the end of the day.

I spoke to soon. Somebody just sold 250,000 shares at markets causing AAPL to drop $3.xx in 2 minutes. Asshole.

It's time to put up or shut up with all these iTV rumors...they've been coming out for how many years now? I'm at the point that I don't believe it will ever come...they just can't/wont make agreements for content distribution, because unlike the agreements with the music labels, the TV and Movie Industry is still healthy and making a lot of cash.

This seems similar to the fake rally we had a month or two ago when we ran to $470 and then proceeded to crumble back down. It's starting to get old...can't we just run $5/day for the rest of the year? Is that too much to ask??

Cancelled it because I am not sold we won't be going lower next week. For those holding weekly options I hope we close above 455 today.

We hit my first target of touching the 8-day, and filing 1 gap. The question is now, do we test the 50-day or continue ride the 8-day. I going to wait and see how we fair by the end of the day to decide. Edit: Also, It looks like early next week we will have the 21-day crossing the 50-day, right near another gap fill - Another good target.

The genie is out of the bottle. I think crimes, like that reported on CNBC's iPhone App (Cyber thieves steal $45 million through multi-national ATM attack) will hasten the elimination of magnetic banking cards. The most natural replacement will be the mobile device nearly everyone carries, of course that mobile device will have to have fingerprint authentication. The firm that establishes the fingerprint authentication standard, is the one that wins. I think the elimination of magnetic credit cards is going to happen much faster than anyone thinks. Look at merchant fraud losses in the article.

Look at merchant fraud losses in the article. As soon as I read this article I thought of our conversation about this very subject. In the Mobile Wave the author believes at some point in the future, banks will issue iPhones for free to their customers for this very big problem. Fraud costs the industry billions every year.

Most sites don't do a dividend adjustment to them, although it seems like they should.

Interesting - some of this new credit card fraud: instead of putting purchases on your card, they now get into a banking system and siphon points. They don't take a ton from each account but just enough. Then they redeem the points for cash. I recently received a letter from the bank for my Mastercard. I am really bad about checking my points and I never redeem them unless we're taking a trip...then I'll book the airline seats with the points. Anyway - it seems that they wanted to know if I had redeemed for cash...it wasn't my pattern. I called the bank and they said they had sent out thousands of these letters because they suspected fraud...and people were now beginning to check and call them back. It's pretty wild.

Its about frigging time...and Sports Blackouts is mentioned at the bottom as another pain. For example, I live in Canada near Vancouver BC. If I order MLB.TV to watch any MLB Game Live, I get Toronto Blue Jays games blacked out. Toronto is a 5 hour flight away!! It's not like I'm going to sit at home and watch the game on TV instead of flying 5 hours to watch it live. I can at least understand why blacking out locally, but I'm on the other side of the country! And with all these Sports arenas being funded significantly by taxpayers, why any Blackout is possible is beyond me. I really hope this goes through and comes to Canada as well.

I think I'm using non-divy adjusted numbers, but the stock bounced right off the 8-day, so what the hell
