Today is the 13th...always a very, very lucky number in our family....but certainly not showing me signs of that in PM. Could be somewhat of a volatile week in the markets in general. Ms. iPad pointed out the various Fed governors speaking this week...plus the WSJ article that came out after Friday's close which bears will tout even though it's nothing new -- but hey, if we think we are going to retrace a bit....let's just do it and be done with it!

We also have Google i/o from Wednesday so expect lots of punters saying that Apple is "finished innovating"...

Pre-market RDR for us.
Sort of WAG, but I think we'll reclaim the SMA100 by tomorrow. 469 gets taken down before the end of the week.

...it's getting old reading the same rumors for the past 5 years. Frankly this is why I think the number of posts are down. Everybody has read, ad nauseum, the same rumors, the same EPS/PPS forecasts for many years, with the same level of results. Once earning/guidance is given all that's left is rumors and wild speculation.

We are now hitting my upper target. We close above this today and I am a buyer.

I may try and play "poor man's algo" at the close, we'll see.
Monthly OpEx appears to hinting at 450-460 as of today.

I would not get anything smaller then a 55 inch and would be willing to pay $2500 for an Apple branded TV

There arent enough consumers willing to spend $2000 on a 40" TV, 4k or not, Apple or not. How many are 'enough'? The iPhone's introductory price was astoundingly high, and volumes relatively tiny, and on a single carrier. Couldn't a TV set be introduced similarly? They can afford zero margins for a premium priced reference design that promises half of what the original iPhone did. Or they could do a lot with just a box. If the interface works, and the content is there (2nd one the big IF), I imagine best in industry hardware, too. Or maybe just hope.

If the product comes with exclusive content or some other unique capability, then my previous comment on $2K could be off base. But 40" would unfortunately be a non-starter in anything but small rooms. Until we see what Apple has in mind, then we (me included) are jumping the gun on whether a particular price point makes sense or not.

Apple will revolutionize TV with the way AppleTV delivers content and changes the TV interface, both software issues tied to the iTunes Store.

In other news, both the 13EMA/SMA50 and the SMA20/SMA50 crossed today, albeit without as much conviction as I would like. Did anyone buy based on these crosses?

In stock news I went ahead and bought a few more 550calls at 9.90. The move to 457 was bullish enough for me that I did not want to wait until the close.
