We'll find out in AH/on Wednesday! Looking forward to it. Tim will give a spirited defense of the company for sure, and hopefully something more than a personal story or two amongst the typical Apple platitudes and themes and that "you know we don't comment on future products".

Hey Mav, Elon is also speaking at AllThingsD, on Wednesday 6pm LA time. Are you going to hold your TSLA until Thurs?

Not sure.
My TSLA trade is sure to end abruptly in one direction or another. I'm trading on pure speculation.

Foxconn is now teaming up with Mozilla to launch Firefox-based tablet --- Business Insider has a story on it if you want to read it -- refuse to provide the link to the rag. Someone will make a big deal of this for headlines -- but it's not.

Next MA resistance is the 20 day, which will be easily eclipsed if this PM action holds. 100 day is around 452.
450.48 (previous support and point of breakdown on way to 419) is going to be micro-resistance.

First of all, I'm not a bear. Second of all, how does higher margin demonstrate a growing overall market? Higher margin indicates a greater percentage of high-end phones are being sold compared to previous mixes. OK, this is the *second* time you have obviously ignored the Ben Evans article, plus the the PED one I linked, since you only reference "my" lone graph. I'm done being your article briefer. What an absolute waste of my time. Actually, I did read the Evans article a few days ago when Horace Dediu tweeted it. It says nothing that contradicts my point. Are you a lawyer or something..? In case you need me to be more clear: Samsung is currently growing all of the following faster than Apple is: unit sales, revenue, profit, margin. I care less about the unit sales than the others. Market share is not my problem. Get it yet? What an absolute waste of my time. Oh, and if Samsung's increasing metrics are simply a sign of a growing smartphone market, what does Apple declining profits and margins indicate? I would have expected more logical views out of you. One more time to be clear: I don't care about market share. I care about margins and profit, both of which are currently trending in Samsung's favour. If you think this due to factors out of each company's control, then I don't know what to say. Linking me to market share articles when I'm concerned about margins and profit makes no sense. If you think you're successfully getting your point across, you really are wasting your time.

Aapl barfing... What did sponge do!? Kidding. Lol. Hey remember what I said last night. We will be weaker then the market. Right now we would be red if the market was up less then 1%. Instead of being up 2%, we are barely up from PM and our newest WS love Goog is up 2%. Lets see what happens tomorrow and Thursday. If we don't close above 450 by then I think we need to be ready for another roller coaster.

AAPL needs to join the damn party today. Morning gap was almost filled though. Better now than later.

Anyone who expects something new from TC tonight will be disappointed. He will stick to his script.
I did buy one more 550 call this morning at 8.10. My calls were positive briefly when we hit 8.80.

Pullback began at the daily SMA100. Not surprised. Need to bull our way through it the next time we approach.

Made my calculations then bought MayWk5 $440/$445 BCS at $3.02. My calcs were off by $1.65. I could have got them at $2.85, had they been more accurate. Still, I think AAPL is going to Close safely above $445 this Friday.

I think trailing the market, at this point, is understandable. AAPL has just exited a stormy 7 months, and even though sentiment has turned positive, management's Guidance for the June quarter was weak. What's driving AAPL now is expectations for the September quarter and beyond. You want to see AAPL pace or lead the broader market you're going to have to wait until after July earnings/ GUIDANCE.

There will be profit taking in the overall market by Thursday if we have another big day like today. So I expect some of that money to move into aapl, giving us momentum.

Interesting. It would be nice to know how many of those failures, other than the obvious (4), were due to user abuse and how that same abuse would have impacted a plastic (no matter how thick/heavy) encased device.
