Futures mostly greenish. Wonder if AAPL will make a run at 400 today.

Raymond James upgrades AAPL to a "strong buy" from an "out-perform" this morning.
Also on several sites it has that AAPL applied to register "iWatch" in Japan - it's all over the web.

Had been working a program of selling covered calls, rolling weeks. Bought back the July 5 410s and July 12 415s at small losses. Not a good idea to be in that program now.....we may build here...... Iwatch? I'm ready......heck, I'm ready for anything.....

I hope we build here. But embedded oversold plus riding the lower BB for days makes me cautious. When I bought Friday I had the same feeling I did back at 385. If you don't think that's a good bottom entry worth taking the risk for, you'll never think there is one.

Found this photo of Mercel tiring to read his iwatch. He even showers with it...

I've got so many appendages crossed I look like a pretzel. Holding July 5 $420/$425 BCSs.

Take a look at the trend line commencing with Friday's trading activity. In that context, today looks very much like a continuation of Friday's trading. Now if only AAPL can continue on that line for the next 3 trading days.

Heh. Nope, no run at 400, just started above it. Next range 418-420. I'm sure there's Fib points of reference but as far as other levels (that aren't MAs) still looks like purgatory to me. I guess it's nice that the EMA-8 was reclaimed. Gotta start somewhere.

Let's see if we can get a HOD here by 3:15....after that it is cool down time and let's head to the Hamptons.....
Nice move today regardless. I am glad the (now obvious) window dressing issue is past us and we are beginning a new speculation cycle on Iwatch, Iphones, etc. Always more fun than focusing on how Apple is dead, dead, dead.

Although volume isn't anything to get excited about, AAPL is up ~$14.xx, yet has not appeared on the Selling on Strength list today. So it would appear that the sellers have gone into hibernation, at least for the short term.

I wonder what volume will be like tomorrow Red. 3M for AAPL? It ain't gonna be much. ..I suppose if we can hang in at 410-15 for this week it is a real victory, as after today the big money will have placed its "weekly bets" for the most part...

End of day selloff commenced right on time, but not as severe as Friday's. Given the degree of today's move I view this as a net good thing.

IF Apple is indeed going to be a second half story, then today we watched a terrific start to that story.

Not. Buying. It. Yet.Signed, Jaded & Cynical Me neither. My trailing stop for the shares I bought Friday now guarantees me to at least break even. I think we have a chance to run here though.
