Well it is clear that Apple was able to accomplish something that even law enforcement could not perfect. I am very impressed and don't mind being proven wrong. I am invested 110% so I won't miss the run up in the next 5 months. I think the fingerprint scanner will make the 5C a non story. We need to get past 585, and right now that is more possible then two months ago. At 585 in Nov I will get over 500% return on my Jan550 calls. Anything above that sooner or later will be very good news indeed. Confession time Sponge. You WERE talking with Officer Blart, right?

iPhone 5c specs will be announced before price. If it has an A6, WS may register short-term disappointment before pricing is announced. If it has an A5, then pricing should fall in line below $450. Expectations for a $350-$399 iPhone 5c are too high. Does the 5c need an A6 to run iOS7 well?

Apparently iOS 7 runs between awesome and disappointing on A6 depending on who you ask (small sample size of course)
We may be guessing right up til the event. I really would like A6 to be the new baseline in primary market. I'm aware I may be hoping for too much. Having a "new" iPhone at $99 is already something of a change for Apple.

I think if it works like other scanners, then it will sell in the millions to law enforcement around the world. That is just for identifying bad guys. For security of their devices it is even better. For use when paired with computers or iOS devices, or access to password protected apps or websites this feature will amazing. We have not gotten into mobile payments yet. That will be huge but it make take a few years.

What does the stock do if there is no 5C for anybody but China? Very low odds of that. Really low. iPhone 5c specs will be announced before price. If it has an A6, WS may register short-term disappointment before pricing is announced. If it has an A5, then pricing should fall in line below $450. Expectations for a $350-$399 iPhone 5c are too high. Does the 5c need an A6 to run iOS7 well? My understanding is that it will run all of iOS7 with A5. Features are crippled somewhat on slower chips than A5. The likelihood increases for $450+ price with A6 on iPhone 5c, a cause for temporary WS insanity (or buying opportunity depending on how you feel about WS).

What does the stock do if there is no 5C for anybody but China? I can't see why that would happen. Apple needs the three model concept, at least for now, in the USA . Or the 4s and 5 both remain....I think it's one or the other, but the 5c will be in the domestic lineup

I don't know, Red.
T-Mobile CEO's tweet is singular - clearly says device not device(s).

Oh, this?
@john_legere: So psyched about Apple’s unveiling tomorrow! Can’t wait to unleash the next device on @tmobile for everyone #Uncarrier
Yeah, I wouldn't take his word over the well-established Apple rumor mill. I expect 5C to debut worldwide and do quite well worldwide.

I don't think WS particularly cares about the insides, they will only be interested in the markets the 5C is designed to address. If we don't hear about a China Mobile deal, it won't matter what's inside the 5C.

Frankly, I wonder if anything Apple announces will stop these farks from selling off on the news. Although, we really haven't had much of a run-up, so that might be good news for tomorrow...

All of you are missing the most important part of TC, Apple, and the future.
The 600 million of them.

I don't even want to know what 600M in option premium would look like at the end of the week. Heck, the end of Tuesday trading. MMs would probably be pleased, though. Agreed, AAPL's much more "propped" up by Icahn (I say, backstopped) than any iPhone/China Mobile rumor. It's really not that bad a place to be, considering. China Mobile deal announced tomorrow? Maybe not. But that won't prompt some 15 point selloff IMHO. AAPL hardly moved on the latest round of China Mobile rumors.
