I don't think they'll have a live stream in case if any demonstration flops with iOS7 or the fingerprint scanner. Any other company could get away with it but Apple would be skewered. When was the last time an iPhone launch was streamed live? Has it ever? Anki screwed up at WWDC. The world moved on. A demo bug or two? Hardly the end of the world. Remember Steve and the blocking Wi- Fi signals? If you don't believe in Apple's ability to run solid keynotes and demos where it counts you never will.

Hey, I believe in it. The question is does Apple believe in it. They have the capability to live stream, so if they choose not to live stream what is by far their most anticipated and important event of the year, the question I ask is...why?
Why stream WWDC and not an iPhone launch? Bandwidth issues? Can't really think of anything except to err on the side of caution in case there are any major screwups.

If deals have been made with CM and DoCoMo, do they announce it at the USA keynote or save the news for the respective Chinese and Japanese keynotes later?

Whose live blog do you favor? I'm not sure All Things D will be live blogging. Gizmodo looks ready to roll.

This is pure speculation, but I suspect they'd announce in the host countries if their intent is to sell phones to that country. If their intent is to move the stock price, they'd announce in the U.S.

Er...everyone in the media would report on the screwup? And the convenient scrubbing from the keynote video after? You're looking into this too much. Apple doesn't stream every event, and that's that. Considering interest in iPhone there might now be enough bandwidth to host it.

Reports that the breakfast buffet is 'lavish' for the media attending the keynote. Is this good use of shareholders' money?

Syria agrees to Russian proposal. Broad market futures up a bill. Of course they did. Russia is Syria's only friend, and Syria is Russia's friend, as long as Syria blocks construct of a natural gas pipeline from Qatar and Saudi gas fields to Europe. One hand washing the other.

So what's the best live stream? The Gizmodo guy is an editorializing douchebag.

From the Ars Technica blog:
"A special welcome to those joining in china/germany/tokyo"
This implies that the presentation will be translated and then rebroadcast, at least in part, to fit each country's time zone.
