My wife and I upgraded our iPhone 5's to the 5s yesterday. Loving the new phone but find myself unlocking it just as an excuse to use the fingerprint sensor. My one problem is that my Proboard's access is gone on the Proboard App and I can't seem to relocate this forum with the search. Can anyone give me a clue to help me find my way back to the forum? TIA I've never used the Proboard App. I always use Safari.

Thanks very much! I'd searched for AAPL Finance Board in the app and had no luck. Putting in the URL at the '+' button did the trick!

Daniel Eran Dilger sets the record straight in a piece on AppleInsider, in reply to a stupefying, insipid piece written by a WSJ blogger and ABC nitwit:
False reporting and consistently terrible market analysis has singlehandedly destroyed Apple's valuation over the last year, despite the company's record sales and industry leading profitability and the past year of sustained sales growth even as its primary competitor scales back shipments and sales estimates of both its flagship smartphones and tablets.

At least the Pontiac Aztek (moment of silence for the defunct brand) could be said to be "misunderstood".
Surface 2 (Pro, anyway) flirts dangerously close to purposeless reinvention of the wheel. It's a convertible, screen-detachable laptop with the dimensions completely backwards (thick screen, a keyboard base that can't support it). And what exactly has the market for that been?
One thing that really gets me on the new Surface 2s. "7-15 days idle life". That's kind of a big range.

My Dell PC can hibernate and have an "idle life" of weeks or months (I think).

New Kindles arrive. reviews.cnet.com/tablets/amazon-kindle-fire-hdx/4505-3126_7-35828167.htmlSpecs aren't everything, but it's interesting to see supposedly top-shelf Snapdragon 800 quad-cores + Adreno 330 GPUs in both HDX models. We know an iPad mini retina would run just fine with an A6X. We also know the A7 is a beast of a chip that's also decently power-efficient. The next month will be fun to watch. Also, classy status bar, Amazon. Can't wait to see "flat design" this time next year.
