AAPL currently up 1.3% on very early PMT, presumably due to the latest CM news.
UBS have now raised AAPL to buy from neutral and lifted their target price to $650 from $540.

Look for morning weakness as MMs give themselves an opportunity to load up and unwind derivatives - then up she goes. Just my opinion

Sweet I can't remember the last time I saw AAPL up by $7 in PM (other than post earnings days in the yesteryears)

IMHO: VXAPL up to 26.98 from about 22 previously. note to my caution from yesterday: I can see AAPL closing out the week near $550 or less

The iPhone.139life.com site (CM) now says
"Reservation page information update, will be reopened later appointment.
Please try again later, thank you for your support Suzhou moving!"
according to automated translation.

I can't see China Mobile launching iPhone without fanfare .... it's kind of a big deal ;D

Well PED is considered a pretty reliable Apple reporter. If he thought it was legit, it was worth some faith. If a CM subsidiary jumped the gun (and it is a CM registered domain name on whois), it is logical for them to take it down when the bosses got word of it. I really don't see the need for the snark. True or not, we've seen early leaks by Apple partners in the past.

This is legit.
What happens this week actually doesn't concern me nearly as much as Q1 earnings and Q2 guidance.

My LEAPS are acting funky. doesn't matter if AAPL is up 7 or 12 their value only moves +/- $5. Can someone enlighten me on why this is?

My LEAPS are acting funky. doesn't matter if AAPL is up 7 or 11 their value only moves +/- $5 An anomaly due to low trading volume. IV changes quite drastically too. Used to have LEAPS calls, nowadays, own only LEAPS spreads.

Has the panic buying started yet?
(ie people who sold at the bottom buying back in now because they might not have another chance to get it this cheap... I'm looking at you, Karen Finerman)

And, not to pick on Karen F too too much, but here is a delicious back-and-forth on her twitter over a month ago, when the stock was around 520.
So if she hasn't bought back in now, with it at 565, she's probably really feeling the burn...
