Well I had a diet coke.
So far I have only lost $210 from the only spread I bought for next week. Hope to recover some of that if we hit 565 by Tuesday.
CM will make us very rich in February and March.

Rum from Barbados, aged 17 years. The price of a case of rum invested in AAPL in 1996 would be worth a cool $100,000 or more today. What was I thinking?!?

China Mobile Guangdong now has a mysterious iPhone 5S-related image up for some reason...as in first image.
Prefix "gd" for anyone interested in checking it out.
Also includes CM's new "And" branding. Hmm.
ALSO, if you like, you can click through to this message (warning: Google Translated, so...)
aaaaand clicking through to the survey, Google Translate output reads:
Is this a job for The Mercel Network? ;D

Nope. Too unreliable, a state controlled media that is a labyrinth of epic proportions.

Your network...turned against you? ;D
I kid, I kid. It's a strange situation over at CM, no question.

I hope Apple sells a Sharp 4k display with every Mac Pro. WS likes sales, sales and more sales.
FQ2 guidance improved this week, with Mac Pro and CM on deck (we hope and we pray).

Drinking makers mark 46 on the rocks. What's on tap? I'm having Ghirardelli brownies with Starbucks coffee (black, no sugar). That was after a double shot of 17 yo Dalmore single malt.

I noticed the 4 million shares with 5 minutes before closing. I wonder if Apple decided to go shopping today.
I think Monday we will see some serious volume.

For what it's worth: aapl was listed on the 'selling on strength' page of the WSJ. Block trades money flow $-1,617.48

I agree, but with rebalancing and monthly expiration behind us the stock can more easily do what is wants to do. But I don't know whether that is up or down I'm focusing on February BCS as targets. 550-570 ranges. Need pricing to behave

Closing at 549 was mildly bullish, as OI could have produced a 544 close. OI should have less influence next week, given they're not monthlies and it's abbreviated.
More CM smoke this weekend, including over at Apple 2.0

I sometimes forget that CM is a state run business and it's leaders aren't subject to the same pressures to do things the way a private board accountable to shareholders is. This long drawn out process is likely part of that and the lack of number portability prevents a mass exodus of customers , hence much less pressure to announce the deal. And like many state owned businesses execution is sluggish sloppy and poorly thought out. ACA anyone? They may ( on both sides of the deal) be very worried about repeating the AT&T roll out and have their new network get swamped and look like a failure. No matter, it's here and the Chinese customer will be blown away with what they can do with that speed and the iPhone really shines in those comparisons. It's going to be a " most excellent" year for apple and appl.

Reminder: China Telecom and China Unicom are also state-run IIRC, though yeah, having almost 3x the mobile subscribers that China Unicom does makes China Mobile a slightly more formidable player.
