I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's contributions to these boards over the past year+. In my opinion, the discussions have recently taken a turn in a different direction than what I'm looking for, so I'll be discussing AAPL elsewhere. But I wish you guys all the best with your trading and investments. Sorry to hear, enjoyed your posts, they added quite a bit to the discussions here.

If this girl is making this up, we'll definitely have to say liar, liar pants on fire.. if she's NOT making it up, we could have a headline risk early this week. Pants On Fire

Sit on your iPhone, particularly a "non-metallic" iPhone like that 5C? Things could happen. Lithium-ion batteries don't take kindly to abuse - me personally, I need to treat my iStuff better.
Also, about ten highly publicized incidents of iFires every 50 million iPhones could be worse, and I'm not even sure the number is that high.
I feel bad for the kid (who according to the NY Daily News was fortunately not badly hurt), but let's see what the investigation finds.

And yeah...Seahawks...go, go, go.

If Peyton was dialed into the ibeacons that the NFL is using tonite, I think he wouldn't be having the errant passing issue

The Seahawks are just a much better team Not really ... think of it as Peyton being Apple....he's MVP again, a great player .... but when earnings/Superbowl came .... just couldn't deliver. So are Apple and Peyton (since neither lived up to their potential and expectations) still the best or not? Very disappointed in both. As for the Seahawks.. well, enjoy your parade on Wednesday. Looks like they have already announced it.

I will add AAPL JAN'16 bull spreads if / when we hit the daily SMA-200. I went into this earnings with the smallest ever % allocated to AAPL. Not giving up on the fruit. Just never, ever over-allocating to any one stock (especially with options) after the 2013 experience. Out of curiosity, and for the sake of non-advise, what strikes were you looking at? I was about to roll my Jan '15 600/650 spreads for Jan '16 650/700, pretty much breaking even. Strikes no higher than 550. (I don't know that we won't consolidate for two years; I'm not banking on higher prices.)

Thanks phoebes. The hawks certainly played well. On to next year THAT they did - it was a blow out. And now .... off to Monday morning ... facing factual and manufactured AAPL articles. Will we continue to consolidate and stay above $500 or will we test the 200 day moving average? I need my beauty sleep - enjoy the rest of the evening.

Seahawks looked amazing, '85 Bears-like. Congrats to Hawks fans. I should have known better when I saw them hold the defending NFC champs 49'ers to 3 points last September. Plus, Denver had a weak schedule and had *3* close games against the lowly Chargers. Amazing what 1 year can do in the NFL. I liked it better before free agency.
And WTF Apple? 30th anniversary of the Mac Super Bowl ad and nothing? Weak.

Thanks phoebes. The hawks certainly played well. On to next year Let me also offer my congrats, Ensign. They may have a couple more in them. Read somewhere where Russell Wilson (RW) wanted 4, to match the all-time greats (Montana, Bradshaw); this team is young enough where they may get that chance. Had a chance to see RW play at NC State when he was a red-shirt freshman against Rutgers in the Papajohn's Bowl; he was killing us in the first half, but got hurt at the end of the first half, and never returned, which allowed us to win. But you knew he was talented and was a winner and game changer, so I kind of followed his career at NC State and Wisconsin. He has his head screwed on right, and is very humble, the kind of kid you want to see succeed. Really appreciate what Richard Sherman brings to the team. It was quite obvious to me that he was running on adrenaline when he did that rant with Erin Andrews, so I thought the "thug" stuff was pure bull$hit. He is a bright, articulate young man, who certainly puts in the preparation studying film prior to the game ("Preparation is separation", as RW said last night). It's interesting that Seattle was able to get both him and Baldwin from Stanford, when clearly Jim Harbough had the inside track on their abilities. But give the Seattle GM (Schneider) his due for finding these guys in the late rounds of the draft (and Baldwin was a free agent).
