I've just figured out that when I buy, everyone should sell; and when I sell, everyone should buy. If it is that consistent, you can make money by doing opposite of your initial reaction. Surprisingly, I find it works quite well.

Lovey, Mav, Mace, appledoc....amongst numerous others....would you kindly offer your views on what is going on technically with the stock in order to give others a road map? I'm not even seeing anything on the Technical tab. TIA Sick in bed with flu... So far, normal retrace from overbought zone. Ideally, stay above daily SMA-20, currently 524-ish, div-adjusted.

That really sucks -- feel better!

So facebook pays 19 billion for half a billion customers who have in common the fact that they don't want to pay the phone co. for msg. and Henry blodget calls it " bold" .
I like kid dynamites analogy. Bold is having unprotected sex with a hooker in Tijuana . It's also stupid as hell. This one will come back and bite zukerburg in the ass big time.

Voodoo is more credible when you spice it up with terms that no one else understands. Adds to the mystique. Simple web search should yield answer to your question. Careful what you said, can be interpreted as intolerance of other cultures and behavior, and viewed as discriminatory and racist. Edit: What I mean is the world is going global, so we have to learn to tolerate any forms of behaviors even if we are totally disgusted with it. For all we know, the other side think similarly of our behaviors. Expressing sarcastic remarks do reflect our intolerance of things we don't understand and believe in. Careful what you say Mace, or the Thought Police may deem you intolerant of countries like America that have a strong culture and tradition of freedom of expression.

Zuck is NO SJ - really can't come close - but there is an arrogance and a sense of "nothing ventured, nothing gained" with him that I admire. In the short time that SJ has left us - the landscape has changed dramatically. I would like to imagine that he would have been more adventurous and an "in your face" sort of guy....who would have ventured into many surprising avenues (like he did with iTunes)...and would have gained much for his investors. IMHO if Tim Cook had paid $19B for Whatsapp (or done something equivalent) he would have been brutally excoriated for making a panic move.
