Back to Intraday.
Mannnnnn...I can't trade this tape.
Down market, narrow trading range, no commitment either direction, 700 is a big psychological barrier until it's shattered.
Apr 13s seem like a decent way to play AAPL but I'm pain-adverse short-term. Will keep watching the price action.

I tried to post a link to someone who was lost, but the link was black listed. Which is why I think you have to PM, one at a time, rather than post any kind of announcement.

And it's not like public displays of protest do anything to help the situation.
Just reach out via PM.

I agree Mav. I won't be going back to TMO under any circumstances. It is really hard to understand that combination of arrogance and incompetence. I don't think I have ever seen a temper tantrum quite like that, and I own a preschool.

Longer-term, maybe we can split off the TMO discussion to a separate topic.
I prefer the clean break approach as far as AAPL-related topics go. Heck, how about "forgetting" TMO is even there after a little while?
iPad has set up an awesome new home on the Web for AAPL traders and investors. Let's focus on the positives.

...but I can't see it! Couple things, Cl4. It'd be nice if you quoted it for us non-Braeburn members. Also, Robert kind of has his own thing, if you recall. Don't misunderstand, Robert's a good guy and it'd be GREAT for him to set up an account here, but he has his...preferences when it comes to approaching AAPL (investing vs. trading, fundamentals forecasting vs. technicals). Let's just say he's focused on building his own community.

I also tried to PM which was also black listed. Wow. I had no idea they could even do that. Do you think they've added a software tweak to scan for this URL automatically? In which case I would have to ask: why the hell are they spending time doing that instead of fixing their forums Or are they monitoring PMs from certain members? In which case I would have to ask: have they completely lost their minds

Here's how. http:%2f/aaplfinanceboard2.proboards.com That %2f is code for the forward slash character, "/". I put that in my signature over there and posted it a few times in different topics in order to guide folks to this forum. It shows up as "/" and results in a working, clickable link.

I tried to PM two people in hopes of them emailing me separately and then me giving them the info. and I received an email from TMO in my email account saying that they stopped these emails because they thought it didn't come from me. How can it not come from me when it was sent on their private site? Whoa....Big Brother for sure. I was just trying to reach out to let others know but I did not indicate anything in the PM and I only did 2 so as not to flag myself. The whole thing is frigging weird!

So help me, I feel like I'm gonna have to add a trade and risk some pain...
The tape is holding up well enough and iPhone 5 is _already_ a monster.
Now to figure out what exactly I'm gonna do. Maybe Dec 12 or later...
EDIT: Maybe nothing at all? Part of me wants to wait for a push through 700 with some volume...

Gee been in a fund raising cycling marathon all we long. Came back to see that we now have a new place to call home. Always thought that afb deserve it's own site. So glad to see we will still be around and be able to help each other. Between here and Braeburn group, we still have the best places about aapl

Lovey's place has a nice ring to it. Can't help thinking of Mrs. Howell from Gilligan's Island. Maybe its appropriate since the Howells were wealthy investors.

I am expecting AAPL over the next couple of days to catch up with the upper BB on the daily - which is currently 689ish. Of course with this parabolic rise of AAPL the last several days, the upper BB will move up as well.

I've seen forum changes and dysfunction before, but I've never seen such a rapid and total implosion. A righteous exodus, for sure. It says a lot about the focus of the AFB community that such a move was possible, with such minimum of disruption. Thanks again, Ms. Lovey, for taking the lead.
Bonus-- the iOS proboards app really is quite user friendly on an iPhone.

It does work as I just logged in for the first time in almost a year to say KMA and delete me from the forum also. I thought the way Bryan treated Mercel was bad. The way he has treated others shows he has some serious mental issues.

And... trading in another ridiculously narrow band. Compare it to the price action on the SPY, similar in that it's choked into a narrow band.
So, those of you with more experience and (or) opinions: what is this? Is everybody just sort of waiting to see whether we board the QE3 melt-up express directly or whether we get a small pullback first?
If it weren't for the SPY action, I'd just attribute it to the psychological barrier of AAPL at $700. But both SPY & AAPL pinning to a narrow range?

Intraday-wise, AAPL is indecisive.
Trend-wise, AAPL keeps holding higher. Gotta love that.
AAPL did NOT trail off from Friday, so I covered my BPS hedge and added to longs at Jan 13. Cleared off that Dec 12 BCS too.
