I'll believe it when I see an 8-K. Results in the upper range of guidance are "acceptable", just not to WS.

Cnet article out on Samesung: Samsung expects Q1 operating profit of $8B, down 4.3 percent Mix-shifting has its limits when you're not exclusively a high-end handset OEM. Which isn't to say Apple's business model is "better", but this shouldn't have been a surprise. Unless you (general sense) believed in the "Samsung as upstart"-type narrative, which never made any sense.

Wall Street knew in advance what they were doing was wrong, so their response? Redraft some of the agreements so they had "deniability" when their hands got caught in the cookie jar. Nice to learn that the FBI is now investigating, as per 60 Minutes last night. Michael Lewis is a superstar. I haven't finished it, but if you had any doubts about the games being played on Wall Street, it's a must read.

Hey doc or iPad or Mace or Mav or several others who are watching the technicals (I'm dating myself but I'm starting to feel like "Romper Room" - some of you will understand what I mean) --- Dan Nathan on CNBC as well as a few others on some sites are suggesting that a trip down memory lane to $515 gives us the right shoulder of a head and shoulders configuration. Are you folks seeing that as well? OMG you didn't actually cite Dan Nathan as a source! Load up the truck if he says to short AAPL.

There have been multiple such formations recently on a micro level. I don't know about the past week.
If whoever this guy is (sorry, no idea who it is) is measuring back from October, he's late to the party. AAPL already had a head and shoulder-ish trigger in late January.
A much better example of a multi-month head and shoulders pattern, though maybe not totally "textbook", might be AMZN from June or late August to present. Wish I was good/smart/fast enough to have bought puts before the massive down days.
Granted, I'm a total amateur here, so take my technical "reads" with a block of salt, YMMV, etc

LOLOL
Open! Choice!
And Apple better be re-combing its own iOS code for flaws every single freaking day.

I swear more than half the time I see TA saying things are looking good and people are getting hopeful, we go down...and when things look bad technically, we seem to do good. I think it's all just guess work IMHO. I know some of you take it seriously, so no offense...I hope everyone makes money.
