It is possible she is a buy side analyst. When the stock hits 125 she is telling her clients to buy more. I think there is a good chance we could see that 125 in late summer. The Trump honeymoon will end when the market realizes that politicians are in charge of the economy not the president. For the record I see 140-143 by April earnings and 145-149 after April earnings.

At what point do we reach "fair market value" ? Which metrics are people on the board using?

At what point do we reach "fair market value" ? Which metrics are people on the board using? I'm using the Google metric, i.e. when Apple's P/E is equal to Alphabet's P/E, Apple will be (almost) fairly valued. We have a way to go…

At what point do we reach "fair market value" ? Which metrics are people on the board using? I have come to believe that Fair Market Value is an illusion. A share of the stock is worth exactly what someone will pay you for it. No more no less. How many times have we seen Schribner make a rally killing adjustment to her projected stock price. She is a pretty predictable indicator that FUD will turn. Her predicted price of 125 implies that the iPhone 8 will disappoint and there will be no reparation of overseas cash. Do you think that anyone, anyone, can predict what will happen in Washington over the next year? I have been told that when analyst publish recommendations, the published recommendation is actually one slot higher than they believe. Hold means sell, buy means hold, strong buy means buy. They do this because they do not want to offend the company with whom they may be doing other business. Schribner has had a HOLD rating on Apple since it was 95 in October of 2014. Of 35 ratings since the split, she has been wrong 30 times.

Anyone have any thoughts on where TSLA goes after earnings tonight? Placed any bets on it?

The rise is slowing down but I believe there is one more leg up to 138-139 before we see any correction. 138.50 is when I'll let go of some short-term calls.

Will probably have to have a dilution army stock offering to raise cash. Stock up after hours. Go figure.

Anyone have any thoughts on where TSLA goes after earnings tonight? Placed any bets on it? My bet was to short $220 Jan 2018 puts in September. Happy to ride that bet to expiration, either be put the shares or keep the premium. Looks like TSLA may be the one that got away.

I also like the market multiple metric, so when AAPL sustains a P/E higher than the S&P 500.

Reminds me of the old Letterman gag, "we make it up in VOLUME VOLUME VOLUME!" TSLA is the new AMZN. Fundamentals, what are those? So long as AAPL keeps going up...

Money they make gets invested in new stuff to sell. Just like Apple "only" sells iPhones, Google "only" sells advertising. In other words, that's where most of the revenue/earnings come from. And ironically, the total market and gross margins of both might be similar.
