Shows how unhinged the left is. They'd destroy the country and its institutions because they are still feet-stompy and petulant over the election. Disagreeing with the President or thinking he's doing a bad job isn't even a light year within the grounds for impeachment. That's banana republic shit. It's all a fantasy. Republicans control Congress. Trump isn't going anywhere so be adults and deal with it. I agree wholeheartedly. Doesn't mean there isn't potential for a lot of pain in the short term as all this uncertainty plays out. If impeachment proceedings move forward, it will get ugly. Impeachment won't move forward with a House and a Senate under Repub. control. This is being blown way out of proportion. He doesn't help by sticking his foot in his mouth every other day. I have zero doubt that if half of these talking heads/journalists were on this thread you would all crucify them. They shoot first and aim later - It's all about "the scoop" and "ratings" - do not believe them when they say it's the purity of justice and freedom of the press. Both the President and the media are creating a shit storm every other day. It's a travesty. To be honest - this board should not care about being red or blue ....only GREEN for our company. At this point I don't give a flying f**k who is President .... just get the agenda passed - specifically tax reform. Am I being selfish? Maybe. So be it.

It's simply not accurate to say impeachment wouldn't move forward with House and Senate under GOP control. It woudn't be easy, and it would probably take more bombshells, but eventually the pressure would be too much on GOP moderates, especially as we get closer to 2018. Check the Watergate history if you need proof of that. But I'd concede it's not happening right away. I don't think the market is thinking impeachment right now, the market is thinking chaos and an imperiled agenda (which as far as the market is concerned consists of tax reform and repatriation). This is what's rocking Wall St.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all in most respects. And by the way - I was a kid - but I remember Watergate all too well. No need to look it up and thanks for dating me (damn!)

The appointment by the DOJ of the former FBI Director Robert Mueller I believe will free up Congress to focus on what they are suppose to be focused and let's get this over with already one way or another.

To answer your question here earlier, yes I think He's doing a good job. Noted by the fact that his support hangs in the mid 40's plus or minus a few since forever despite the press and democrat resistance. Obama average tenure % is the same. No more political post here from me sorry. The Dow down 1.5% no big deal. www.gallup.com/poll/203198/presidential-approval-ratings-donald-trump.aspxWednesday, May 17, 2017 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove. Rasmussen has been voted the most accurate polling outfit of the 2016 election season. Since Friday it has held the same and has been in the upper 40's for months. sorry

No more political post here from me sorry. The Dow down 1.5% no big deal. EDIT: One thing I left out. The FBI publically ended the Flynn investigation on Jan 24th. The Comey memo is dated mid Feb I believe. There would be no reason for Trump to ask for a "stop" to the investigation. There wasn't one to stop. Thus the memo must be fake. NYTimes has some explaining to do. You're terribly confused if you think Flynn is no longer part of the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia. Flynn himself asked for immunity at the end of March! Not only is he being investigated by the FBI, he's also being investigated by the House and Senate intelligence committees, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and probably others! Where are you getting your news?? WAPO from above post. The FBI in late December reviewed intercepts of communications between the Russian ambassador to the United States and retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn — national security adviser to then-President-elect Trump — but has not found any evidence of wrongdoing or illicit ties to the Russian government, U.S. officials said. Although Flynn’s contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were listened to, Flynn himself is not the active target of an investigation, U.S. officials said. If you are unbiased you would weight the fact that Flynn was fired because of his communications with Pence. www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/fbi-reviewed-flynns-calls-with-russian-ambassador-but-found-nothing-illicit/2017/01/23/aa83879a-e1ae-11e6-a547-5fb9411d332c_story.html?utm_term=.11178f6c46e3

The left is still "feet-stompy and petulant over the election?" That's Donny talking, and it's laughable. Nobody is thinking about the election, but Trump, who keeps pathetically celebrating it as his only victory over the past four months. No, the left is concerned about the harm that Trump is doing to our country and our standing in the world. Without getting into too many specifics, possible Russian campaign collusion, traitorous (or dumbshit) leaking of secret intel, firing of Yates and Comey, killing the EPA in the name of job creation, a racist as head of DOJ, etc., etc., these are all very real and serious issues that speak volumes and cast serious shadows on Trump and his intentions for our nation. It's not fantasy - read the paper sometime. A special prosecutor was just assigned today. Talk of impeachment is proceeding on the House floor. Yr dismissal of the left's concerns is concerning. Party before country is no way to run a democracy. Trump may not last as long as you think, so be an adult and deal with it.

There's nothing to deal with yet. No use in getting so worked up. Time will tell. We should all hope that time passes quickly or we start getting some major non-WH distractions to take away the focus from all this.

At least you admit it; you would undo the results of the election based on unfounded allegations and policy differences. There's a word for that: Coup. But I'm the threat to the republic.

So dismissive. If unhinged = willing to be open to the possibility of Trump having dirt on him, then, sure, I'm plain loco, shuffling my feet with liberal anxiety. I never said I'd be willing to undo the election over unfounded allegations and policy differences - you did. I believe his behavior and financial dealings warrant further investigation into his special style of government. And I'm not alone...

You're just completely wrong. I'm sorry. So you are calling the WAPO article fake news? Strange you liberals are. I see our local thread Nazi has given the green light to political debate on the main thread. I will not bite other than this post as I am aware of how this will work. The election butt-hurt crowd will repeat the fantasies of the MSM with glee and song until the factual responses of Macster and JD causes them more butt pain and suddenly the snowflakes begin to melt and calls for cease and desist begin with threats of expulsion and violence ensues. Don't believe me? Just visit your local university. Thanks Artman for dragging tuffet to the dungeon. I will continue to respond there in memory of our most profound example of left-wing lunacy---firestorm. Come on down I just dusted, but be aware it is not snowflake friendly. I will copy and paste this to the 18th day thread so maybe others will see it.
