Interesting that after all of the negative news yesterday, AAPL looks ok this morning - also interesting is the late day sell off pattern lately.

This one's a head scratcher for me: Apple Deal Lifts PayPal’s Prospects and SharesIt seems to me that they are competitors, but perhaps that's just because I am not a PayPal user and may not fully understand what they do. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. I will say that the availability of Apple Pay across a range of stores in the Boston area seems to have greatly increased over the past six months, much to my delight. Perhaps the credit card companies are pleased with whatever increased security they get from chip-based cards, but the increased processing time is certainly slowing things down at the stores I frequent.

If we also go up tomorrow, it'll deserve a Wheee! Then if we keep going higher next week towards ATH, car talk can begin

Chip is slower, noisier and your reduced to fumbling with Plastic in full view

Recall. Amazon at one point decided to add third party vendors to its marketplace. What happened?
Competition? Fewer Amazon local sales? No, not really.
Vendors came. So Amazon became a better place to shop. So more customers! Then more sales for all, then more vendors ,etc. A virtuous cycle!
------------------------------------
The same argument holds for the iPhone. If I am the only person with a phone, not much value. If two people own a phone, then some value.
Now look at Apple. Say I want to buy a phone, and want to reach the most people the most easily. Which phone should I buy? There is only one real choice - an iPhone

Chart looks great with four consecutive closes above SMA100. Have some heavy resistance in the 147-149 range.
