Thanks for opening the thread, gtrplyr. I enjoyed hearing that Tim still feels enough connection to his customers/investors to sometimes respond to email; I'll bet he gets many. Perhaps The Macalope can restore the positive mood in the forum, especially since AAPL has now turned green after a slightly red open.

As mentioned in yesterday's post, I suspect its due to us touching the top of the long term trading channel. IMHO, a pull back of some level is more likely than a break out.

It might be related to the new rumor (again) from some anal-yst about Apple ditching the touch id on the iphone 8.

I didn't like this idea at first but after thinking about it, I have to assume that Apple's implementation of facial recognition on their premium phone would have to be even better than Touch ID. Touch ID so fast that it can actually cause issues by authenticating purchases too quickly (if finger is already resting on the home button). The facial authentification would be a deliberate yes or no and the process would run seamlessly in the background.

Buttons on the screen. Tap yes to make the payment. The authenitification using the cameras is automatic.

They same way we do now. Nod or shake your head.
