Thanks as always for starting the thread Since84. I came across another opinion piece that was published on CNBC.com last night. I'll post the link, but honestly, it's not worth the time to read it. Investing pro: New iPhones are not enough to keep Apple's stock going, it needs a new categoryIn summary, the article is a rehashing of the same arguments we've been hearing since Steve Jobs passing....Tim Cook is just an operations guy, Apple won't come up with anything great anymore since Jobs isn't there, remember Nokia, blah, blah, blah. So nothing new there, but what irritates me in particular is the author starting out saying how "big of a cheerleader he has been for Apple (as if to legitimize his opinion)" but he had to sell most of his shares because Apple can no longer innovate and they "need" a new category. I love how some no name from some firm I never heard of knows what Apple needs to do to avoid a fate similar to defunct tech companies of the past. Ugh. Okay, morning rant over. Thanks for reading

As I peruse the Apple headlines today, it seems obvious that the FUD factories have gone into overdrive in advance of the Big Event. I won't bother posting links, they are hard to miss. IMHO, Apple intends to make the first event in the Steve Jobs Theater as impressive as possible, perhaps even including "one more thing."

Which suggests a nice pop when things turn out not to be so gloomy...

AAPL is forming a distinct candlestick pattern on the chart that technical traders call the Yucky Poopy formation.

Well, now that the stock has fallen by $6+ since this FUD about delays began, would you say that the iPhone 8's delay is already priced in or would AAPL fall further on Tuesday if/when Apple announces/confirms this later date of availability?

BTD. Added to Sep 22 160 calls.
Hoping Hurricane Irma or "Hurricane Delay" don't ruin the party ;-)
