Not loving the Bloomberg article but it is totally believable given the POS upgrade with iOS 11 including the patches. My phone and iPad have NEVER been this slow or unresponsive or buggy....EVER! WTF has happened to quality? And when I complain I am told that they are getting TONS of these calls! Who has their eye off the ball over there??? Where is the accountability- or is everyone too busy at Angela’s “town hall “ having a cup of latte? It is indefensible at this point and more importantly unacceptable!

Strange. Everything on all my iOS and MacOS devices running awesome. Husband, daughter, son, daughter in law, son in law, both sisters, both brother in laws, - 5 Nieces and nephews, their spouses - numerous friends were all asked by ME and EVERY SINGLE ONE had the same issues I had. [Mr. Tipton nods in embarrassment] Vinny Gambini: Are we to believe that boiling water soaks into a grit faster in your kitchen than on any place on the face of the earth? Mr. Tipton: I don't know. Vinny Gambini: Well, perhaps the laws of physics cease to exist on your stove. Were these magic grits? I mean, did you buy them from the same guy who sold Jack his beanstalk beans? 😉

I have an iPhone 6. After the current upgrade it slowed down significantly. For instance, when an app launches the screen turns white and I wait... and wait... This occurs even when switching back to an app that has been previously launched -- including 'phone'.
Further the battery is now acting flakey. Yesterday I was on the road most of the day. When I left I supposedly had 100% charge. A couple of hours later it was below 10% with one short call, music playing through bluetooth and maps running. Previously this trip would have been a no problem trip. I hadn't bothered to take my cord. On the way home the phone shut down.
I have rebooted multiple times.

My iPhone7 battery life is much worse after the upgrade. No other issues for me that I've noticed.

Try using the native calculator app and making a calculation at normal typing speeds - 1 + 2 + 3 for example, should not equal 24. Absolutely pathetic and unforgivable lack of QA.

Indeed, the + button stalls (isn't responsive) when trying to type the + before the 3. (iPhone SE 11.0.3) I've experienced some lags elsewhere, and just chalked it up to user error. Maybe some weren't.

Is that correct? It is...you must be typing very slowly. Try typing a little quicker and you’ll see the problem. Wasn’t an issue previously.

True. The Spotlight indexing can take a few days. Another tip: There is a battery usage monitor you can reference in settings that will tell you what apps are using the most battery power. Might help with diagnostics for some.

Three iPhone 7’s one 7plus and one 6 Plus and no one has mentioned any issues. Whe I updated Apple Car Play was not working, I called support and they had me do power restart which fixed the issue

Lots of Apple vaporware out there right now. iMac Pro, iPhone X, HomePod, AirPods 2, induction charge mats, Beats “original content.” HomeKit penetration is embarrassing. CarPlay? Nothing about the holiday lineup. Nothing on the fate of the iPad Mini. Nothing about a new Mac Pro. No movement for years with Pro apps, iWork suite, iBooks Author, iTunes U, iLife suite. I get that the new campus is distracting them.

Did it three times as fast as I could, all 6's; iPhone 6S iOS 11.0.3 Interesting. It seems to be quite a widespread issue and has to do with the animation taking too long. Seems like it would a system wise problem.
