Today’s action can’t be due to HomePod can it? Sure, that might have provided a little bump for the holidays, but it’s all about the new phones and Apple’s ability to meet the demand for the next couple of months, right?

A particularly well written and funny Macalope if anyone is interested. Funny, yes, ted. But you should have *warned* members to just read and enjoy *Macalope* and to not, under any circumstances, follow any links in that article. I made the mistake of following the link to "iOS Sucks" by Jesus Diaz and I should have been forwarded about following any further links when Jesus wrote: I’m not going to detail all of them here because the list is long (developer Ryan Lau has done an excellent job of documenting them). The mistakes are sometimes tiny, and may not always be noticeable for the average user–like misaligned interface elements through all of the built-in apps. Particularly eye-twitching are the headings that don’t align consistently with the search bars in apps like Mail but align just as Apple’s own interface guidelines dictate in Notes. Another pet peeve of mine? The different spacing across different applications, or even within the same app. And the lack of consistency in the usage of color: Apple stresses to developers that the search bar should be of the same color as the status bar, but the Watch application breaks its own rule. Then there’s even more distracting lack of consistency, like the way the search and the Today Widget behave depending on how you invoke it, from the home screen or the lock screen. But instead of paying attention to the "spidey sense" tinglings that I was feeling after reading that paragraph, I went ahead and clicked on the link to "Dive into the details of iOS 11: Is Apple still detail-oriented?" by Ryan Lau. OMG, what a big mistake. This is how Ryan sets up his article: A designer and typography enthusiast based in Shanghai. With my 4.7 inch iPhone 7 and iOS 11 GM at hand, there still exist quite a lot of unfinished feeling of Beta software. As a designer, I can’t help writing about my feelings. My wife and I both have an iPhone X and are very much enjoying them. We've updated, and will update to new iOS versions as they are released. But, not being a "designer and typography enthusiast" as is Mr. Lau, have completely overlooked some of the design "flaws" that are eating at Jesus and Ryan. I've included one example below. And may I add, I'm a big fan of symmetry but did not notice a misalignment of temperature text with iOS 11. I'll try to do better.
