Happy Valentine's Day to all you lovers out there. Fabulous Spouse and I celebrated by taking in an uproarious set by the legendary Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, who provided their usual excellent fare of New Orleans style rave-ups. Most of the reports from the Apple meeting focused on Apple shareholders defeat two shareholder proposals, CEO Cook downplays special dividend. I am eager to hear reports from fellow AFBers who attended, both about the meeting and Apple Park. Apple spotlights apps using ARKit’s capabilities on new webpage describes the latest state of the AR revolution just getting off the ground. Perhaps my reading in this area is limited in scope, but it does seem that if AR takes off, then Apple is well-positioned to benefit from it. Ming-Chi Kuo's latest rumor is KGI: Apple Could Ship 100 Million Units of New 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, Replacing iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in 2018 Device Line-up. I think that we have all learned to be cautious about his predictions, notwithstanding his occasional scoops. After a bit of see-saw start, AAPL appears to be lifting off, as is the Market in general after a rocky start. As Since84 would say, "Let's make some money!"

Kuo’s rumours are such garbage. This is just setting the stage for the inevitable “Apple cuts iPhone orders by 50%” headlines that we’ll See in a few months. Book it.

Back over $167... short covering or buybacks driving this move?
Will Buffet's 13f show more AAPL - those are rolling out soon, correct?

Bitcoin having a good day - risk back on trade? I'll take it - hoping we get more than a modest dividend bump, even though reports are TC nixed the idea of a special divy at the shareholders meeting.

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway increased its Apple holdings by 23.3 percent to 165.3 million shares, according to SEC filings.

I must say, as regards the wild drop of AAPL, and then the recovery:
The insights on this board were right on target. The discussions about the interpretations of APPL's quarterly results was extremely mature. The negative reaction by the press was way off. The results were, in fact, fine.
Find the most intriguing issue right now is about the HomePod. Is this a sleeper (like the Apple Watch) or a slow fail.
Apple gambled here. I think it was a good one, to separate from other devises on great (read cool)sound.

It is apparent to me that Warren Buffet is trying to accumulate more shares than LuckyChoices. Buffet is doomed to fail
