Anyone else think that Apple could be doing a better job of promoting Apple One? I only found out that it is now available because I follow the company so closely. I wonder if the average customer even knows it is an option?

Anyone else think that Apple could be doing a better job of promoting Apple One? I only found out that it is now available because I follow the company so closely. I wonder if the average customer even knows it is an option? I figure it's like Apple TV, that they don't push it too much at the beginning while still adding features and content. That way you control the negative press, instead growing organically with positive reviews while adding more. Getting Apple TV free for a year with my iPhone 11, we watched The Morning Show, and then a coupe episodes of Home (or something like that, including a home in a greenhouse). I have a couple movies on my list, like Bankers and Greyhound, but it just hasn't been a huge thing. Truthfully, we watch very little TV, instead getting our screen time from the computer. We've had Disney+ now for 9-10 months and maybe average 3 movies a month from that, often now some older movies (the cat from outer space), though I'll be watching the new season of Madalorian. Getting Amazon Prime for at least a month, we just watched the latest Addams Family last night (not perfect, but pretty good, especially for a family movie) and part of a cooking show (Grey st?). Combos are tough. Think to some of those software combos where 10-13 pieces would be $49. If you were interested in 2-3 of them, it was often enough. Apple is throwing enough into these that if you wanted all of it it would be a great deal, but breakeven is often having interest in over half of them. The workout side of things could make it an easy choice. I don't know the current pricing on Peleton, buy my wife had a set of Body Pow classes that morphed from in person to online over the years, and the cost was still pretty similar to in-person costs. Maybe $200 every 6 months, so average down a touch and call that $30/month. Some were live-streamed at first, but most turned to recorded and then posted. Though connecting to previously recorded things at first would seem like you wouldn't care too much about getting constant fresh content, it still is preferred. ie it is different than just buying a DVD and using that workout forever. Will it move the needle? It does dovetail in with other workout related software and devices, so even if it isn't a fit for everyone or a great moneymaker overall, it does add to the ecosystem and potentially bring some extra people into the ecosystem. I don't think they are pushing it much now as it is growing, but maybe it gets pushed a bit with the cloud choice, which might be pushed the most when you fill up your space and Apple offers to sell you a whole lot more space.

Remember that the time changes tonight. I really get so tired of this every year.

Remember that the time changes tonight. I really get so tired of this every year. It's twice a year if you are doing it right In Phoenix they didn't do the time change, which was actually more of a pain if dealing with non-local places. For instance, that made the offset to the east coast, and thus the trading day, change back and forth between 2 and 3 hours. www.timeanddate.com/time/change/usa/phoenixFWIW, one of the bugs that I remember and thus have as a pet peeve is that it is "Daylight Saving Time", though many people mistakenly say Savings.

Well, on the day we switch, there are only 23 hours in the day, so there is one less hour to spend money. Which must mean some type of Savings. Feel better?

Just a question. How many weeks was the iPhone 12 short compared to other new models?
PS It is so nice to see the politics generally out of this board. Thanks all !
