I did my homework...
That's THREE times in the CC that PO says they believe they will report within the range. Provide some factual evidence to back up your claims. Don't go tell me to "do my homework" when you're the one who is wrong.

Glad to hear rumblings about Apple working more with Yahoo. I've always thought they should use Yahoo more and Google less.

Rejected yesterday at the daily SMA8. Looking like we may open above it this morning. MACDh with bullish divergence on the daily. Let's see what we can get out of this bounce.
If 419.00 was the bottom, this should be a pretty strong wave up.
Again, what I'm looking for before getting back in is:
1. Break and hold of the weekly trendline from 705 to 594 on the log scale (upper 440s this week, lower 440s next week). 2. Break and hold of the weekly SMA100 (currently 490).

Hey Doc, why are you so hostile? PO said they will likely fall within the range. But they could also fall above it. What's the big deal?

It's fine to disagree, but the hostility that accompanies the disagreement poisons the atmosphere.

I am bullish and few comments from management in a different light and a couple of Bears get really mad.
I should have add it "not only just" in the within range in my earlier statement
Nothing changes in guidance other then the amount they will beat by.
Good start this morning. Lets hold 425 and we should be in strong shape for the rest of the week.

And you fail to say that that 'disappointing demand' quote is from an "analyst" commenting on Foxconn results, not a fact. (AI is copying some reuters story where some guy talking about weaker iphone demand was cited.) Please, as you say, let's keep this forum useful, don't just repost noise without any analysis.

Fact of life: When we have a poster who generates a never ending torrent of noise and garbage, it is going to impact discourse, because it takes down the quality and usefulness of the community. That fact of life cannot be changed, when some are here to have intelligent and thoughtful dialog. Human nature, I am afraid. Sponge refuses to acknowledge the impact he has, so it is what it is.

Hey Doc, why are you so hostile? PO said they will likely fall within the range. But they could also fall above it. What's the big deal? The big deal is that sponge is conservatively calling for $45B. Conservatively. It could happen, but to call it a conservative estimate in light of what was said about guidance going forward is insane. Then he proceeds to call people out on fact checking when he is the one who's making things up. It's enough to make one hostile.

It's enough to make one hostile. Once upon a time there were +20% beats. Now he is conservatively forecasting a 5% beat. There is nothing wrong with that. His opinion is one more opinion, and I take it as one of the useful things this board has to offer. But fighting those opinions like you are doing only increases the length of the thread without providing any useful information. So I call for a truce, and for stopping this particular discussion.

The four of you are just hostile towards me, but that's OK because history will prove me right.
I am a bull and do back up my views but that is not good enough for you four. That's OK too since I have outlived many option holders and doubters.
In the mean time we are getting closer to 430. Maybe our pre earnings run officially started today.

First, Foxconn produces for Apple and others.Second, if the 19% decline was all Apple related AND it was in comparison to March 2012, then Apple would have already reported a warning, as Apple would miss on both sales and extrapolated earnings. I'm hoping two things from this "report" The 19% was a sequential decline from Dec. and/or the decline was attributable more to non-Apple production.

I posted the title from an super pro Apple website with the link. There are many that do so. The KGI analyst has a good track with Apples product rollouts recently. The majority of iPhones are assembled by Foxconn so I do not see why this is noise. Please show why this is noise AND why one must post analysis on top of an Analyst analysis.

432ish next micro upside target.
Holding 430 would be, er, nice through Friday. Bullish? Who knows.

Today's action will teach a lesson to those who discount American Bulls! j/k. I know this is a very questionable source of TA. Recently, AAPL has not followed max pain script. So although it appears Apple will close below $430 on Friday, it's by no means assured.
