I don’t know, but it could be regulatory problems, on Canada part, that’s keeping the Apple Card out. I can’t imagine any other reason.

From the start, almost all merchants accepted ApplePay. May be regulatory, may just be they need a local bank partner like they have with Goldman Sachs

"The Motley Fool has Apple Is Nearly 50% of Warren Buffett's Portfolio -- but He's Spent Almost Twice as Much Buying Another Stock.' FYI: This is click bait about buffet buying back Berkshire.
This sell off has all the top stocks going down, so is this going to be an extended decline or just a pull back until the new goggles rally get wings? I have no idea. This pull back is widespread though. The short term trades are selling everything. Only 6 of the richest 37 companies are in the green. Their money is no good.
Only about 10% of the Semiconductor stocks are up including intel which seems to be declining permanently.
Selling for the event risk of the weekend? NVDA and Apple will probably lead the market on Monday. One way or the other. This tech rally is different as not as wide spread as the internet mania.

And Australia too, where contactless payments wave been ubiquitous for so long now that cash usage is in decline (only 16% of in-person transactions) and the decline in cash use is accelerating. I'll take an Apple Card.

From the start, almost all merchants accepted ApplePay. May be regulatory, may just be they need a local bank partner like they have with Goldman Sachs While we have an Apple Card, and it’s been nice using it on Apple Pay up here in Canada for nearly a week, what are the big advantages of it? Just the 2% cash back, whereas most other cards only give 2-3% on a couple things and 1% on everything else? It’s hard to keep up with all of them and their benefits, and I just don’t remember all of the Apple Card ones anymore. It’s not like the Apple Citibank card from 30 years back, that gave 5% towards apple products. With spending these days, that would get me a studio pro in short order, instead of the StyleWriter ll from back then. Happy days! Great to be putting in some new ATHs.
