It would be interesting to know why they dropped their line of smartwatches. Supply constraints, manufacturing costs or just the lack of sales? Whatever the reason, they were smart enough to exit early on.

I remember that day. And I remember all of the jokes that were told, predicting a colossal failure for Apple. Well, it was/is a colossal success instead. It’s hard to go anywhere without seeing an iPad as they have been used for everything from replacing point of sale registers and automotive entertainment systems. One of the most versatile digital devices created. I have to wonder if the designers ever envisioned the endless ways the iPad could be used.

Gifted didn't work for me but that's okay...looks like another WSJ hit piece. I think I'll learn more listening to the podcast Horace released this morning.

”Gifted” is stealing, and I am disappointed that any AFB’ers do or condone it. Do you walk out of the Apple Store with something hidden in the pocket of your coat? Grow up.

I believe an apology to CdnPhoto and apple are in order. Gifted in this case is me sharing an article through my personal subscription. It is an allowed method of sharing articles from WSJ. And that's what I assumed with I saw the word 'Gifted'. I haven't added them up in awhile but I probably spend nearly $2,000/year on subscriptions on various websites, podcasts, newsletters, emails and substacks for investment advice. A couple of them are okay with me sharing emails/posts as long as I don't make a habit of it. And a couple don't want any sharing at all. As for this WSJ article I could probably find it on Apple News via my AppleOne subscription and would if I thought I'd learn something from it. I gladly pay for access to Horace's podcasts and everything else I subscribe to. Your mileage may vary but I think he and the others are worth every penny.
