BRK is really moving just like Costco. I think some good news on the goggles might light the fuse.

Nvidia broke through the $700 mark today! Now, Apple needs to break through $200, and stay above it.

Long day on the slopes today, at Northstar. 82 miles and 41.5k vertical. Plus decent untouched powder stashes in the flatter areas. Fun times.
Garmin had an ad on some of the chairlifts, showing off 3 of their watches, saying "Battery for weeks, not hours". That's their fighting point. I wonder if Apple could put in a mode that doesn't do a few things (ie no EKG or blood oxygen sensing, and maybe a HR less often) that would get a week. But apparently people don't care. I'd like to occasionally see my HR and sleep tracking, but it's good to get the band off my wrist for a while.
2 guys were talking about which AirPods worked best for skiing. Something about a 3 has passive mode, so they can hear other things. But one of the versions fit better in his helmet. It sounded like both had multiple pairs, with at least one version just for skiing.
This would have been an interesting time to get opinions about AVP. Most were non-local, with Redwood City, Danville, several from Sacramento, Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, San Luis Obispo, San Diego and Baltimore. When Apple is ready to do more mass-demos of this, or even mass-advertising, skiing (hey, already used to wearing goggles) and travel in general seem like ideal places. Circ du Soli in Montreal had some sort of VR goggles to test. It's that whole "spending money and having fun" that already puts things in the right mindset.
