I'm going to say, NVIDA is the reigning monarch from now and APPLE will be subordinate. Apple will still be important and relevant, but it's NVIDIA's gig for the next decade.

Warning: Apple Users Targeted in Advanced Phishing Attack Involving Password Reset Requests
Phishing attacks taking advantage of what appears to be a bug in Apple's password reset feature have become increasingly common, according to a report from KrebsOnSecurity. Multiple Apple users users have been targeted in an attack that bombards them with an endless stream of notifications or multi-factor authentication (MFA) messages in an attempt to get them to approve an Apple ID password change. Nvidia makes GPUs, very power hungry GPUs. AI oriented cloud-based data centers are Nvidia's gig. Apple's got another AI thing going—personal, mobile, and private—that has little overlap with Nvidia's market.

I'm going to say, NVIDA is the reigning monarch from now and APPLE will be subordinate. Apple will still be important and relevant, but it's NVIDIA's gig for the next decade. Nvidia makes GPUs, very power hungry GPUs. AI oriented cloud-based data centers are Nvidia's gig. Apple's got another AI thing going—personal, mobile, and private—that has little overlap with Nvidia's market. Sure, but the narrative of how the future is going to be shaped is way more audible from NVIDA at the moment. They are generating more buzz, more excitement and that in part driving a very healthy PE for NVDA. That video Dave posted has NVIDA announcing so many interlinked (power hungry) technologies and applications- gobsmakingly amazing. Apple, on the other hand has had a slew of bad press(DOJ, EU, APV(misunderstood by some)) and titanic stumbles that are obfuscating the positives this year as this article highlights: stocks.apple.com/ARD6lML0HRdmiRnaX90f7aQFor the long longs APPL has had no growth for the past 28 months - a high of $179 in 06 Dec 2021. Apple is not in the centre of the spotlight anymore, because the spotlight has swung in NVIDIA's direction. For AAPL to be relevant going forward it will have to have a very compelling AI offering as a foil to NVIDIA's hyper-compelling vision of the future. So, NVIDA points to AVP as an interface to their world. This is great but Apple needs to enable their vision of the world within APV that extends well beyond amazing cinematic experiences - a space with endless possibilities. AVP should be Apple's star product moving forward. There are so many possible applications for APV; medical, design, fabrication, training, simulation, digital twin. But in order to regain the spotlight, Apple must spruik AVP with a more tantalising vision of what is might be capable of, and drive those Developer, Developers, Developers..... Im sure Apple hasn't been (completely) sitting of their hands when it comes to AI, and machine learning chips have been in iPhones for a good deal of time and they have been buying up more AI businesses than others. But a company of Apple's behemoth size has to have a commensurate number of positive announcements (not just consumer products, but undermining tech, like M chips) in order to keep the buzz alive, driving sales and keeping AAPL moving forward.

Very well said Benoir. Apple is in the hole that they have dug.
