Got busy and missed the close, I need a drink. I think I'll stop by the local BAOS Lodge and down a few. I understand the Colorado Lodge has more relaxing fair to be consumed.

Well. A terrible close here but a positive week I guess. Algos gone wild. still, in the long arc of time..., I'm looking at the bright side. The sales and earnings beat of all time. I"m still a little stunned. Cheers to the longs!

Well there were a few bright spots. We took out the ATH. Touched $120 multiple times -- which eases the resistance for the next run. Glad to hear you bought the dip JD. My stink bid didn't hit. I'm glad you otherwise enjoyed the play, Mrs. Lincoln.

I can't get too bothered by the last hour. Many reasons why investors might choose not to hold stocks over the weekend. Selling AAPL at 119 after 120 proved a short term roof perfectly understandable. It's month end, book some gains...Volume still very strong, boding for good days ahead,

Out of the 74 million iphones sold last quarter, does anyone have the number that were US? Thanks I don't know that number, but here is a great number to ponder that I heard on the internets: 1 out of every hundred people on Earth, bought an iPhone last quarter.....

I think I'll form a new club named "BAOS" Battered AAPL Owners Syndrome We can all meet Fridays, AAPL pin day, and lament the irrational valuations of Amazon and Google......while we count our holdings in our favorite fruit company. hmmmm, maybe I should copyright and buy the domain name (damn, baos is already taken by someone). Under appreciated. That's the AFB angst. This Board knows best AAPL'S true value. And the outrageous proselytized doubt. Tell me, if the least likely corp in the world to go belly up is the one with the most cash in on he bank, where is the SAFEST place in the world to put some cash to work? Mav, great blogging, but total bs about you not being qualified to give aapl advice... Not licensed maybe, but well-qualified through on the job training.

He may well be a great backup/transitional CEO. Obviously not a "next generation CEO" given he and Tim Cook are fairly close in age. I think Federighi deserves a spot on the CEO bench as well in addition to the other names, plus he's a bit younger than the other Cook-age-cohort senior leaders. Deep bench of top leadership overall, and that's before the hopefully promising bunch of potential Apple CEOs rising through the ranks.

Give the ball to Marshawn Lynch and they're in the history books. How Samsungish!

I can't believe it! The Seahawks snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Did Bellichick slip that play call in?
