Good morning: Can't remember if since84 is back today but thought he needed some help through Tuesday so I'll give it one last whirl here. AAPL nicely GREEN here at $128.07 (+0.72) This Angela Ahrendts email is getting lots of play this morning. AppleInsider has it best perhaps: Angela Ahrendts tells retail employees to push customers online for Apple Watch, 12" MacBook launches:http://appleinsider.com/articles/15/04/07/angela-ahrendts-tells-retail-employees-to-push-customers-online-for-apple-watch-12-macbook-launches 9TO5Mac has a similar one: Angela Ahrendts to retail staff: Encourage customers to buy Apple Watch & Macbook online: 9to5mac.com/All else pretty quiet out there ... congrats to Duke on the championship. I was cheering for Wisconsin but what the hey...great game. Gotta hand it to Coach K.

For initial launch of Watch I understand (I think) other than that my reaction is not positive.

Frustrating price action. Verge of break out ...gap up and nothing despite tailwind from market overall.
Over 130 and all is well. Until then tho? Continuing to be a chain of lower highs with 122.50 as support.
Still holding in upper 1/3 range of the bar from yesterday so far.

HBONow is available on AppleTV and iOS devices! I like this too. From AppleInsider article: " When HBO CEO Richard Plepler chose to speed up the rollout of the company's new standalone streaming service and went looking for a launch partner, one of his first phone calls was to entertainment industry legend turned Apple executive Jimmy Iovine. Plepler previously worked for Iovine at Warner Music, and reached out last June after Time Warner chief Jeff Bewkes suggested that the debut of HBO Now — then slated for release in 2016 — be accelerated, according to Fast Company. Iovine's response was characteristically enthusiastic: "I think that's the shit," he reportedly said when asked if Apple would be interested in a tie-up." Not yr typical corporate-speak… gotta love Jimmy. appleinsider.com/articles/15/04/07/apples-jimmy-iovine-played-key-role-in-securing-hbo-now-deal

Great for Cue to have a partner in all these content negotiations.

Speaking of dinosaurs, what's the backstory on this Pharrell Williams wearing an Apple Watch thing? Never heard of him, and weird a Comcast/NBC show of all things would be getting the early tease? Maybe it's a deal just unique to him? Oh, and nice spin Samsung.

Not a fan myself but Pharrell is a big name. Great product placement to have an Apple Watch on his wrist.

Pharrell had the most infectious song hit of last year, and the coolest hat of the year. It is good.

I'm surprised he's not shilling Samsung's watch. :-) Yeah and there is a huge debate on that. I disagree with the courts. Let's just say that Pharrell is immensely talented at very many levels and having a watch on his wrist is a good thing. What happened to the stock at the end of the day - it pooped.

The 150,000 calls at $125 expiring April 17 may be having some effect.

AAPL remains kind of whatever. Oh well.
Not seeing much of a musical ripoff by Pharrell (they have side-by-side comparisons on YouTube and everything), but whatever. Pharrell's a good "silent endorser".
The only real question with Apple Watch is "how successful" for now. Will Apple give a one-time initial sales number? A revenue number? ANY numbers?

It was a lame comedic attempt at comparing his copying to Samsung's. He'll actually be good for Apple, he's very popular.

SAT - Reading Comprehension Section - Do not open your booklet until told to do so The main point of the above paragraph was: 1) Comcast/NBC is the one net not participating in Apple TV streaming, so it's weird they would have a show with a preview of Watch. 2) Pharrell's talent or lack thereof. 3) Is it good to have famous, hip people wearing Apple products? 4) What passage man, I'm so stoned, dude?
