Good morning everyone. Well, AAPL is GREEN trading at 128.29 +0.69 (0.54%) as of 6:06AM. That's up two days in a row. Major US indices are all nicely GREEN as well. Will this be the day? Not much in the news: Cult of Mac reports Order status change indicates Apple Watches on the way. I'm excited and I have yet to order... Have a great day. Lets make money.

Not rubbing it in, but an interesting data point. One of two watches, ordered on the same invoice at 12:08am on 10 April, was charged at 4:20am. It is the 38mm Milanese for Mrs. Rez. Second watch (mine) - still processing, not charged. Tea leaves for those who divine the Apple Supply Chain™.

Didn't mean to rub it in Phoebes. Remember I'm further back in line than you are because i waited to buy at the store...
Gap filled. Can we please go up now.

Aapl clearing 128.75 should rocket us. Really struggling pre earnings with breaking back over.
A fake and bake out pre earnings not entirely off the cards IMO

Last time before earning day AAPL resolved lower on a cloud of FUD before breaking higher and running like 20 points over course of a few weeks.
LOL this stock cracks me up sometimes.

More demand for the 42mm than the 38mm probably why our 42mm models are still "processing" and the 38mm is on its way.

I ordered a combination of both - and nothing is getting shipped so if you are trying to make me feel better I am not feeling it, dear.

Perhaps Apple is arranging a special shipment for all of your watches Phoebe.

Dear Xiaomi, You are unoriginal, copycat assholes. Love, JD (still sick) I refuse to patronize copycats. If one can rationalize the morality of it, the scumbags are building inferior products with marginal savings. What's wrong with people who decide to give money to these sleaze merchants?

While I detest the immorality of Xiaomi as much as anyone, I think that there are some perspectives on this that are worth noting. First, when a company copies this extensively, it is a clear confession that they are incapable of even approaching the creativity and originality of Apple. They are not shameless because they choose to be, they have no other choice than to accept the shame to compete. It is offensive that they shoulder that burden so easily, but the world is full of parasites.
Second, their very ability to compete rests on Google supplying the OS, so if you really want to blame someone, blame Google.
Finally, there is this. Every customer that Xiaomi brings into the world of smartphones is a potential Apple customer. As China's wages improve and the middle class grows, many of those Xiaomi customers will move to Apple. In a culture that values face so highly, what self respecting person would want to be seen with the poor man's knock-off?
You grow by either growing the market or taking market share. It doesn't hurt Apple if Xiaomi grows the market and provides future upgrade customers

Though it's obvious to us, I'm not sure that the people of China view Xiaomi as an Apple knockoff. There seems to be a great desire for their products - not something that would happen if people were ashamed to own them.
China is plenty big enough for both Xiaomi and aapple to grow for a while, though. Apple is doing phenomenally well there.
