I got my shipment notification in the wee hours of this morning. Card was charged on Monday. Thanks. Sport or Stainless model? The Sport models appear to be shipping on time or even early. Red's Watch Edition is held up until he can produce a CC that isn't declined. Hmmmmpf. You are talking to the man who invented Space Gray. Tomorrow will be exciting...

Meanwhile, Google misses for the sixth straight quarter, costs per click down again, and yet GOOG is up 3%.
Amazon loses $54M and is up over 6%.
What an F-ing casino the market is. Fundamental analysis is pointless.

First person that posts a picture of their watch tomorrow is going to have their eyeballs plucked out by MOI ! THEY'LL BE NO SOUP FOR YOU! If you can get close enough to pluck out their eyeballs, then why don't you just steal their watch instead? My great intuition is sensing some impatience while waiting for your watch. Am I perceptive or what?

Just got back from the local Apple store. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Nice experience overall. Space Grey stainless strap shows fingerprints unfortunately. Otherwise, we have a winning product I think.

I love Miss Piggy too but no - I was just referring to me, myself, and Irene.

That's in front of a FASHION HOUSE. The kind of store that has never before had people lining up over night to pay full price for a product just because it's finally available. Think that might make some news?

Maybe this will seem obvious to everyone else here, but the thought just occurred to me that Apple might be managing inventory with a "build-to-order" system. For the initial launch, they may have had a supply of finished watch cases, bands, and packaging, and are building the finished product (case/band/packaging) to meet demand. That might explain the wildly fluctuating shipping times. Of course, for Apple, inventory is the enemy, at least since Jobs returned. As a general business rule, inventory is bad. The goal is " just in time." Obviously, for an iPhone launch, where tens of millions of purchasers are queuing up, desperate to get their new baby, that's not going to be an issue. But languishing inventory was a huge problem in the mid-90's when Jobs returned to Apple, and Tim Cook bulldozed tens of thousands of Performas into a landfill (presumably, Apple now has a forest or solar farm above that landfill ). That culture remains, and that is still the goal today, JIT products. The perfect sale would be a truck pulling up to an Apple store with your iPhone just as you slide your credit card... Anyway, personally, I'm hoping we stay here at 129.xx until earnings, so no dumb bunny like Dan Nathan can say that Apple's big quarter and the Watch are "priced in." Tim Cook is basically Notorious JIT #wowthatwasreallybad Cheers to the longs btw. Place your bets for earnings, or not. AMZN and GOOG sure did defy reason, as I'm sure quite a few of you already posted.
