I wouldn't say incestuous. Article and feature writers often retool articles to sell to different markets.

Noticed that the lone comment was from Gregg Thurman, as I recall he had mentioned he was getting out of AAPL and considering Tesla for their battery tech and the gigaplant ?? to make batteries. Hope he is doing well.

Ok I don't mean to sound like an asshole and to be honest I thought Gregg was terrific and I extolled his insights on various occasions - God only knows the amount of money I attribute to having made given his calm going into numbers at times. BUT having said that - some of the comments are sounding like the diary posts of a jilted girlfriend/boyfriend. If he doesn't want to play in this sandbox - screw it. Life's too short and by the way - if you haven't learned this lesson in life yet NO ONE is indispensable...at least in business and business matters. So YES we thought he was wonderful and it's an open door policy here but to lament every day...geez. I'm just glad that it's all the fellas! (And in no way is this meant toward you rickag - it's just been a culmination of about two weeks of it) . What do you tell a young teenager who starts dating? Stop wanting someone who doesn't give a crap about you and move on! And no, I am not Anna Wintour but I will use my box of Puffs with aloe to blow my nose for allergies and not lament over someone who isn't giving most of you and certainly ME a second thought in his frigging life. Yeah - bitch hat on today.

Yeah - bitch hat on today. Tough love .....reminds me of exactly how mom lectured me about Becky Jo Middlesmith, who jilted me in high school. Sniff.... How's the watch, Phoebes? I'll bet Siri is scared s*****less when you yell "hey" at her. Hey, the Fidelity App now supports Touch ID, which is great.....

Still learning the watch - I'm not that quick with technology but the kids will be here with theirs this weekend so I'm sure my learning curve will go up exponentially. My niece just became a "genius" so I may have to give her a call as well !

Appeals court finds Samsung violated Apple's design patents, but not trade dress: goo.gl/E3wwfwWhat the fuck is the point of an extensive trial and jury verdict if the decisions can just be overturned? What a joke of a legal system. Trade dress was the most obvious thing that was infringed upon.

Icahn just made the best and clearest AAPL long case. Nothing that many on this board haven't been saying for years, but HIS opinions gets read. Thanks Uncle Carl, for giving loud and persuasive voice to our viewpoint!

What a joke of a legal system. Trade dress was the most obvious thing that was infringed upon. While I disagree with the Court's decision to overturn this verdict, I do believe the Appeals Court is necessary. After all, Apple is waiting for a court to overturn Judge Cote's B.S. decision on the e-book trial.

After all, Apple is waiting for a court to overturn Judge Cote's B.S. decision on the e-book trial. What's the point of the original verdict then? Sounds like a giant waste of time and money - how many days of work did the jury members have to skip out on, only to have their decisions rendered meaningless? I don't pretend to know much about the legal system, but it is obvious that it is broken. Think about it - justice is rarely served appropriately despite all the endless retrials and appeals, so why bother with all the wastage?

Tim Cook GWU commencement speech excerpt:
"They've asked me to make a standard announcement ... about silencing your phones," Cook said. "So those of you with an iPhone, just place it in silent mode. If you don't have an iPhone, please pass it to the centre aisle; Apple has a world-class recycling program."

They're coming out with a Find My Watch app. Phoebear could have used that one.

Over the weekend, I decided to see what was on Apple TV, but I never did find a listing of what is available in each section. I guess it requires you to search (if you know what you want to watch) or surf thru each section to see that is available. Does anyone know of an app or webpage that lists the available content in every Apple TV section?

I've been at the chalk board writing "I will not mention Gregg Thurman" over and over, I'm up to 5000 copies. May I post again? I may bring up mbeauch or ovi though.

Awww...c'mon rickag...didn't mean to single you out in any way. I will erase the chalk board when you're done and clap the erasers. Actually - in all sincerity - I wonder if mbeauch's wife is doing well and is in good health. I remember he had gone through a rough patch. If I remember correctly, he left the forum because he was simply done with the craziness that happened with the stock a few years ago....and not because he was angry at anyone here. And he certainly wasn't one of those who thought that the collective group wasn't worthy of his intellectual curiosity. Hey - people leave for different reasons. And while some claim to leave some are still lurking....probably in their UNDERWEAR!

This can be a rough place when AAPL is in a dive. Hopefully we won't see that again for a long time.

I miss the posts of all of these "characters" and think they added passion and interest in the topic of AAPL. I actually did an Internet search for mbeauch and found a similar person in the obits. I was afraid something had happened to him. I was hoping he was posting elsewhere. It is nice to know he is OK. I also miss Mavs posts but I can go to his site for his comments and he still visits. There are many others as well. Thanks again for the info.
