Fed minutes at 2:00 p.m. - doubt any big movement before that. May go back to watching my grass grow this morning till then.

It is only Wednesday, but too many contracts between 115-119 not to keep the stock down. Most are worthless already but the 115 still has enough premium.

Rejected at the 50 week moving average yesterday.
Below all the moving averages.
Weak.
Seems like we're going to revisit the 113s...
Makes no sense from a fundamentals perspective, unless you believe that Apple's y/y earnings are going to decrease. That seems to be the Street consensus.

It's all driven by momentum and fear at this point. Numbers don't make any difference ... I hate it when it gets like this but we've seen it before and eventually market sentiment will shift ... until that ... keep drinking : )
Cheers to the longs

An ebbing tide lowers all boats. We're going lower IMO. AAPL fundamentals be damned.

Not unexpected at all.
Stocks that are sick and below their moving averages will be whippy with vicious short covering rallies and fail larger moving averages/trends.
In the context of the chart AAPL has now spent 13 sessions under its 200 day moving average and only managed to rally back to its 10 day before promptly failing it. It broke over an accelerated down trend and is not back texting that line. 10 and 50 day moving averages are trending downward and the 200 will start flattening out to curving downward within a few weeks.
It looks like a massive bear flag and if it triggers measures down to 95 or so.
Any short term trader long should sell into a back text of the 200ma when it happens. Stocks in sharp declines under 200ma eventually will rally to back test it and likely fail on the first attempt to recapture. It's usually that second try that will "stick" as positive divergences will be developing at that point.
Good luck and go AAPL as always

American Express announced that it will be adding its U.S. corporate cards to Apple Pay becoming the first corporate card issuer to support mobile payments. This move should further the digital payments agenda for businesses that use Amex corporate cards as it will allow cardholders to make contactless and mobile payments at participating merchants. Amex small business cards have been participating in Apple Pay since the mobile payments service was launched in October last year. bankinnovation.net/2015/08/payments-industry-happenings-new-and-noteworthy-3/

Every once in a while I run across a quote that causes me to redefine my entire philosophy of life
Thanks Ted

Just no commitment to this stock's price...run it up and tear it down.

Most stocks tumble today except electric utility, water utility, telecom, gold and silver stocks.

Wins their appeal? They haven't even been granted cert. I'd forgotten all about that fat, biased German Mueller.

China Mobile adds 19m customers to the 4G network. This is the same amount as last month.
Good indicator that growth in China continues.
