Good morning everyone. GREEN across the board again. Getting dizzy yet? AAPL is trading at 97.70 +1.40 (1.45%). Max Pain is $97. Maybe we should start a pool for the closing price... In the news: Cult of Android has Google paid Apple $1 billion to keep its search bar on the iPhone. Seems a little cheap to me. Venture Beat has Fewer orders at Apple suppliers could signal first iPhone sales decline. Come on you have to squeeze every... last... drop... out of the FUD. Or is it Fact? It 'could' signal many things. Cult of Mac has Apple hires a top virtual reality expert. Wonder if he can do anything about the stock price? Picking up on last night's thread in which Phoebe mentioned that the East Coast snow forecasts range from 1 inch to 2 feet -- remember that meteorology is a science with a fair number of data points and this is what we get. Now about those AAPL prognostications. P.S. Out of respect for the thread I won't get into global warming. Have a great day. Let's make money.

Hermès watch available today online. It is amazing how a new band and a new face can spruce up an old watch. Old. 9 whole months. I have Apple's brown leather magnet band in brown. The Hermès brown is so much better. I wonder if all Apple bands will get a price cut when they release Apple Watch 2 later in the spring? And when will the "made for Apple Watch" bands start showing up? (Apple's web page for awesome photos of the Hermès watch: www.apple.com/apple-watch-hermes/)

After such a sell off I am numb to a 4% gain or breaking 100. The computers suddenly decide to buy absent of news.
Let's see two more days like this on Monday and Tuesday and I will be satisfied and happy.

Sucker's rally for earnings tank? Excuse the cynicism.

Munster is quoted saying AAPL could jump 50% going in to the release of the iPhone 7.

Sucker's rally for earnings tank? Excuse the cynicism. Perhaps but consider if you were an investor frightened of the year ahead but needing to stay invested in someplace safe. Treasuries? Not with expected fed rate rises. Emerging mkts.? Not with China " slowing". Likely I would transition from risky stocks in to value stocks with rock solid balance sheets and a safe dividend. Appl. Fits that to a tee.

Chances of seeing a 50% move in the next 12 months is a no brainier. From 93 to 139 is easy. My target is 150 by Dec.
The question is weather we see most of that move in the first half or the last 6 weeks of the year.

We need to get and stay above 100 with conviction. Tired of seeing this wishy washy 100 area. How many more weak hands can possibly be left?

While I can agree with some of it, there's too much hyperbole out of CML. Way over the top. I'm 90% sure iPad sales will continue their decline.

Lighten up my fellow Canadian (I think?). $250 within 5 years. That has to be good enough for anybody I hope. Keep the faith. This is still a once in a lifetime investment opportunity. Nothing has changed as far as that's concerned. Apple's clearly not worried after leasing a pile more space near their new campus. This leased space will be ready in 2017 and will hold 3,000 people. And then there's the land purchase in San Jose and the leased land adjacent. Wall street and the media work together. Don't forget there are many algos that simply scan media reports and headlines and trade accordingly. Why does Apple trade at a much higher relative price volume to a company like Google. Apple so far today 40 million shares, currently $100 or so; google (both stocks GOOGUS and GOOGL) has traded 2.5 million shares at $735 (the average price between the two). This happens day in and day out. Algos, shorts, options, HFT's and day traders. Figure it out analysts and commentators. Sigh; they won't because they are part of the game. Emailed Apple investor relations a month ago, urging them to create and list on their own stock exchange. Design their own rules and all this bullshit and manipulation goes away. Wouldn't that be epic news! Cheers to the long suffering longs

If we close above 100 and volume gets to 70+ million it bodes well for Monday and Tuesday.
I can't wait until Tuesday afternoon .

Sorry, had a lot to say (iPhone bear narrative is stupid until shown otherwise), so it's exceptionally TL;DR But the iPhone part can kind of stand alone, so I'll post just that part later, probably. Sadly that will NOT lower the words per post average much LOL

Still haven't read a John Kirk article regarding Apple which I didn't appreciate and agree with. He's always on the money. Thanks for posting it, Rob!
