AAPL went vertical again. Is FANG money looking for a new home?

In the old pre split days, these big swings would equate to 20-35 point moves. This is a day traders dream come true.
Time will tell as to when we truly fill the gap from earnings and get back over 100.
Glad to see goog keep dropping. Friend who works for them texted me very happy when they had temporarily passed up Apple for the crown.

While there are certainly issues that need attention, it is instructive to read the comments section also. The Android world has at least as many problems, and the end user often has no idea whom to hold responsible, unlike the case with Apple. As a 40 year veteran of software development projects in roles from programmer to project manager I am well aware of the challenges involved. I never worked for a company that did not have a substantial backlog of bug reports. The joy of new systems is the ability to leave behind old problems, but new ones always occur. I am not suggesting that we give Apple a pass on this. I myself have several problems that regularly annoy me, such as the tendency of the iOS Remote app to drop its connection fairly regularly when I attempt to reconnect while music is playing, and I have complained to Apple. But I do recognize that the scope of their software development and maintenance has become enormous in all areas: supported hardware, legacy requirements and a vast, diverse, highly engaged user base. I think that they need to do better, and can, but the job is much tougher than it was when I was rocking a Macintosh SE.

Good points Chinacat. My concern is that despite the issues Android has, their market shares increases because the platform is good enough for a cheaper price. Yes we have a record number of switchers, but our platform needs to be superior in order to navigate challenging economic times.
The Mac is a great example. But there will be times where the other side makes enough improved changes that we could experience very little growth. If you take the iPhone out of the picture, the company would have had flat growth the last few years.
We need to improve and improve a great deal.
Apple Mail is very challenging and with every new OS update I am having to learn more features.
The fact that half of the traffic in Apple Stores are at the Genius Bar, says a great deal that Apple no longer just works.

AAPL went vertical again. Is FANG money looking for a new home? Maybe that and some buy backs... Liked this tweet this morning: Net income, Q4/2015: $AAPL > $GOOG + $FB + $AMZN + $NFLX + $MSFT + $EBAY + $AXP + $MCD @asymco @aapltree @stvnsnthn @quincymercel Does it matter tho? Honest question. Does it?

Does it? To me yes. To Wall Street, not at this time. This gives Apple incredible leeway in the future of the company. This is a LOT a LOT of money for ... well ..... anything. R&D, acquisition, buybacks, dividends, employee retention, vacations in the Caribbean . Wait, did I just say that? Seriously, yes, I believe it matters.

Does it? Sentiment goes up and down and affects aapl's share price, but of course net income matters - it matters the most!! Money is always $$$, and this tweet puts some perspective on how much Apple rakes in.
