For the technicians out there - $92 which was hit in pre-market was the August 2015 flash crash low - we need to stay above it because if it is breaches with any gusto we'll get HFT's setting-off. Looking at other sites it seems it could open the door to an incredible low of approximately $72.50...although I can't imagine it would get there given what it would do to the indices in general. I'm of the belief that money has been going into AAPL. When I see AMZN - $18 in premarket or GOOG down multiples day after day ... while Apple is down just a few - it leads me to believe that it is possibly being looked at as a flight to safety. But hey, I'm no technician - I just dabble FWIW.
Congrats to anyone who was rooting for the Broncos. Great game!

Feels good to be in cash. Will say that even if we get to 110.
In April 2013 we hit a p/e of 9.23. I foresee a continual drop in eps. And the world economy is the culprit. I don't think Apple management saw this coming last fall.
The next three ER will be very telling. Unlike 2013 when margins stopped dropping while sales continued to rise, we will face stronger headwinds.
The 7S may be bigger hit, simply because the world economy should have started to improve by then.

APPL is showing a pretty impressive performance in the context of the broader market. Perhaps we're not the only ones who feel it undervalued.

Flight to safety IMO. Most of my holdings, which are becoming more and more defensive, are green or slightly red (< .5%)

Another thing to worry about is that Mr. Icahn owned 11% of Chesapeake Energy shares outstanding. It's been halted several times this morning...ouch. Let's hope he doesn't sell other things. On the flip side, hey sell all your Chesapeake Uncle Carl and buy AAPL with it!

I can't help but agree. I recently signed up again to Apple Music and my entire iTunes library got duplicated. Better than the previous deletions, I guess... Also on my last Photos sync between my iPhone and my Mac, every photo in my iPhone got duplicated and I ran out of space on my 64GB iPhone. This is just infuriating and ridiculous. My new slogan for Apple software is "It just doesn't work". Also, why can't I delete or favourite photos on my iPhone that are synced to my Photo library? The iPhone is my primary computing device and I should be able to control my media from it. I travel a lot and often without my laptop. If I run out space on my iPhone I'm pretty much handcuffed unless I want to delete apps. I really question the intelligence of the people in charge of Apple software. I love Apple products primarily because of the UI - it's now falling to pieces. Everything is a struggle.

I suspect that Apple's upper management ranks could use some fresh blood.

I can imagine the growing pains internally. Temporary lost of oversight. All that new office space for coders and creators in multiple platforms. MacOs, iOS, WatchOS, tvOS, Beats, CarPlay and R&D. Don't lose faith yet.

The same phone had been plugged into my computer the night before and it was fine - nothing had changed - no settings - nothing. I'm sitting with thousands of pictures right now and I'm guessing I need to delete one by one not sure but TALK ABOUT GLITCHES! By the way, I saw Walt's interview on CNBC on this topic and he was completely exasperated and he's a very fair sort of individual.

This has nothing to do with my frustrations about the stock price. I'm speaking as a consumer here - I'm not at all happy with Apple on the software and services side. Hardware continues to be fantastic.

I didn't even renew my iMatch subscription this year. Too many song duplications. Plus I didn't have the option of having the actual song files on my phone. Had to be cloud. Why the hell should I have to stream my own music and pay data charges to do it? Plus I have to wait 30 seconds per song before I can listen. Exasperating.
Don't get me started on my El Capitan issues. :/

A drop in EPS, definitely a drop in EPS.
