I thought the Tim Cook interview was great, with the interviewer not sticking to the usual canned questions and instead asking some really tough ones for Tim to think about. I hope Tim takes something away from it. Bottom line is Apple needs to get their services up to snuff in the rest of the world and not only the US. Apple cannot expect people in less affluent countries to pay more money for an inferior device - one that is handcuffed by lack of available services. They also need to look at their marketing and think about making it more targeted to specific geographies.
Thanks Artman for posting the link.

I assume everyone has seen the blog stories that Eric Schmidt has been seen using an iPhone, wonder if he has concerns about security, naw, couldn't be right. He is only using an iPhone periodically to make sure Google apps work well on IOS.

I hear what you are saying, but would like to offer that Apple acknowledges this to an extent. Services are cheaper in some emerging markets. For instance, Apple Music is only 10 RMB ($1.50) in China.
