AAPL up $0.83 in premarket. "On June 22, 2016 Apple Inc. ("Apple") consummated the issuance and sale of $1,377,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its 4.15% Notes due 2046 (the "Notes"), pursuant to a subscription agreement dated June 7, 2016 among Apple, and Deutsche Bank AG, Taipei Branch and KGI Securities Co. Ltd., as the managers named therein." Form 8-K for APPLE INC
Tumblr through Yahoo Finance has, get ready this is shocking, "Is Blackberry Closing in on Apple’s Dominance?" No link for the stupidest article ever on the Internet. Hope the Macalope finds this article. From Appleinsider Apple invents stylus with touch-sensitive body, ambidextrous 'Reachability' UI for iOS"A pair of Apple patent applications published Thursday indicate research into alternative input methods for iOS, namely a touch sensitive stylus and a device capable of customizing a user interface based on whether a user is holding it in their left or right hand." Need Since84 back, soon

Almost 2.5 million shares in the last minute of trading, am I reading that right? We know it wasn't Apple they are barred from buying in the last 30 minutes I believe. Carl getting back in?

Any of you guys have a good read on the Russell re-balancing tomorrow and the ramifications to AAPL?
Seems to be a consensus that AAPL will take a hit, but how big...

As I recall: it was not an issue in the past........ I personally think it is a bad time to " trade" AAPL

Wasn't suggesting a trade on re-balance - was thinking about selling out of Apple altogether as the buyback blackout looms as soon as the Earnings Day is announced so it is kinda 1-2 punch in a short time period -

Looks like brexit SHTF... S&P500 futures down >4% and sinking fast! 72.8% Reporting Leave 51.5% 11,496,842 Remain 48.5% 10,842,366 I'd expect the Russell re-balancing tomorrow to be small potatoes compared to Brexit. The market will probably get slammed as you're suggesting.

Does this remind you of another event that may occur in our future that could rock the markets?

Make Europe Great Again. Angela Merkel Well done for destroying the EU your reckless immigration folly sealed the Brexit. Personally I think its much more about democracy making decisions at home instead of in Brussels. Wonder how the EU bailouts are going to proceed. This could get bad.

In any case, risk aversion and deleveraging will surely hit AAPL... In good times and bad, AAPL seems to always get hit...

I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. I will not bring up partisan politics. Deep breath, nothing I can say will change others beliefs on this board.
