Brexit caused a further increase in the USD which negatively impacts American companies who do business internationally. Apple will be affected significantly - they will either have to adjust iPhone pricing in Europe (meaning fewer people will buy) or take a significant revenue hit that will impact margins. UK leaving the EU is not a small event - a selloff is perfectly justified in my opinion.

Gee, what happen to all the doom and gloom about Brexit?
I thought today would have happened on Monday. A day late and a dolla short.
They don't call it the United States of Amnesia (USA) for nuthin'.

Workers gonna work Factories gonna produce Countries gonna trade Consumers gonna buy FUDsters gonna FUD

All Britain did was vote on whether or not to leave. No Article 50 proceedings have commenced and won't until a new PM is in office. Then it's up to two more years to thrash out the details.
And from what I hear now, they may have another vote to be sure people really understand what's at stake.
And furthermore, it's no big deal anyway. That's why I went stock shopping yesterday.

I must admit that anything said with a British accent simply sounds so brilliant and civil. Even Nigel Farage castigating the EU Parliament in his speech - the guy has a "steel pair" to get up like that the day after Brexit and just put it out there. I can't stop laughing at the EU Parliament members in the background who were incredulously cracking up after a short while. It's worth the watch ... been a lot of buzz about his speech...he's insulting in the most civil of ways : www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4ZTuh52wXE

It's funny, we're the supposed republic and they are the monarchy, but which head of government acts more like a king?

Beside the havoc all of this is wreaking on markets - I find it all so immensely fascinating. You couldn't make this shit up - life truly is stranger than fiction!
