Can't say I blame anyone for not wanting to be in this stock .... seems like every point up right now is like pulling teeth. Even when the market rallies we barely budge , I sure hope my long term position pays off from this point. ( Considering I've been long since 2003 I've done pretty well) Cheers to the longs .....

Pretty obvious to me that AAPL and the market as a whole should be traded. Buy and hold is dying a slow death.

Can't say I blame anyone for not wanting to be in this stock .... seems like every point up right now is like pulling teeth. We've discussed this from time to time, but with 4-5 years of below average stock appreciation I think employee retention could be a critical issue for Apple right now. Stock options are a huge factor for Silicon Valley employees and with the stock going sideways any employee who joined in the last five years has got to be looking at other companies - both publicly traded and startups - and wondering if their time would be better spent elsewhere. The superstar engineers will go first, if they haven't already...

I agree. Maybe those employees should take the advice given by some on this board and sell (i.e. quit) for having the gall to have a time horizon under a decade. We only want true Apple believers - those who are looking at Apple on a 1,000 year timeframe like Mr. Cook is - working for the company and invested in the stock.

It's all over Twitter how FaceTime and the iPhone have completely changed the world ... I love it ... would have rather it be for happy circumstances but love it nonetheless.
